Apply Patch Tuesday & get bugs, errors or BSoD at least you will know the incompatibility & performance of your device & Microsoft knows what is needed to be addressed right away thru Optional Update, if you don't then somewhere in the future you will missed the opportunity to address the problem & you have to google it & dig deeper for better solution. As they said, the update/s is not perfect. You have to wait for the next update to address the issue, if not uninstall it anyway. What I am worried, past few days Insyde Corporation automatically download & install the BIOS/Firmware v1.16 in my unit(first time). I was shocked when I was notified NEEDED TO RESTART TO APPLY THE UPDATE. Luckily, it was good update. When BIOS/FIRMWARE got bugs, errors, or problems the unit will not turned on, its no way We/I can revert or uninstall the BIOS/FIRMWARE Update & thats the end of the story. Hopefully, Microsoft or Insyde can prevent this BIOS/Firmware Update problem in the future to prevent PC/Laptops or device/s from being broken. *** To make story short *** -Update your driver/s then apply the update/s and get errors, bugs, or BSoD & wait for the fixes, patiently.. Careful with BIOS/FORMWARE Updates.
