Using High Contrast Mode

Having difficulty reading what's on the screen? Have low vision? On Windows 10, you can use high contrast to make text on the screen easier to read. To turn high contrast on, press LEFT ALT + LEFT SHIFT + PRINT SCREEN. If you want to change the high contrast theme: 1. Press WINDOWS LOGO + U. 2. Click "High contrast." 3. Select the high contrast theme. TIP: You can make your own high contrast theme if none of the default high contrast themes work perfectly for you. You can swap out the affected colours if you have some form of colour blindness. Here's how: 1. Press WINDOWS LOGO + U. 2. Click "High contrast." 3. Select one of the coloured rectangles under the "Choose a theme" dropdown menu. You can modify the colour of the following screen elements: - Text - Hyperlinks - Disabled Text - Selected Text - Button Text - Background 4. Click on the colour picker palette and make adjustments to the colour's brightness using the slider under the palette. When satisfied, click "Done." 5. Click "Apply" to save any colour changes.
