I have the habit of touching the CAPS LOCK key very frequently. I chose this method to have a HUGE VISUAL CUE when I make that mistake. You will need to have the toggle keys turned "ON". Here's how: Step 1: From Windows Start, click the Settings Gear icon above the Power icon and select "Ease of Access".

Caps, Num + Scroll Lock Checker (Free) Caps, Num + Scroll Lock Checker displays icons in the notification area based on the status of the Capslock, Numlock and ScrollLock based on what you've picked. Please note that in the Free version, the Scroll Lock status is shown in the app, but not in the Notification Icons bay.

Put an on screen indicator for caps and number lock into Windows 10. No, a "tone" is not what we want. A visual indicator. It should say "caps lock is on" or "caps lock is off" when I press caps lock. The lack of it should be embarrassing to Microsoft. Put it an update and get it out there. I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 a couple of days ago.

Click on Screen configurations tab. In Properties window, make sure Enable on-screen display is checked. Under "Indicator settings for NumLock and CapsLock" section, look for "While the numeric lock or caps lock is ON" section, choose the "Show the indicator for a few seconds" option. Please keep us updated with this concern.
