Create Free Space ππ A Nice Tipβ
As many know there is or there might be a Windows.old folder on your Sys drive. If, all is good AND you have no need for anything from the previous Windows, as in, for example, before & after 21H1... that BIG Windows.old folder can be removed. The TIP here for you is that there is a really easy way to do this... the OS will do it for you via this path: > Settings > System > Storage. Under Storage Sense click on Configure SS or run it now. Down at the bottom of the page you will see Free Up Space Now. Check the box & hit the button. Will a take a few (the folder is BIG), but when finished the unneeded Windows.old folder will be gone and you will have created a BIG chunk of precious free space on your OS drive πππ Certainly look for this folder & do the above after the H1 & H2 Updates. Or after upgrading to Windows 10 If you use MCT to update you will have the folder after completion Cheers, Drew

How to really get rid of One drive once and for all.
Every time I put a file on the desktop, it ends up in One drive and doesn't show on the desktop. I have uninstalled One drive and even deleted the One drive folder on my hard disk, but the files end up there anyway. There should be a simple way of using the desktop like in Windows 7 if you don't care at all for One drive. I tried every trick I could find on the web but I am still sruck with my files going to One drive. Any suggestions other than going back to Windows 7? Thanks for any idea. Mike.

My Email content is not downloading automatically
It is taking 5-10 minutes for an email to download the content of an email now. It was automatic and super fast. It did not slow down over time. It just stopped downloading and taking forever overnight. I have a Samsung laptop and run Windows 10. Also have an Apple iPhone. Nothing is new. My 4 month old computer is gathering dust. So slow it is useless. Thanks for any suggestions!

Third party involvement..
I've always liked windows in the past. I just now started using computers again for work after around twenty years. It is taking time to get used to windows with micrososft. It seems that it is to obvious that a third party is in my computer. Compared to setting up my Mac Notebook, windows has been a complete headache in many ways. Is there a way to use windows 10 without it being obvious that a third party is working with windows? Also it seems not to link to google properly, I had to download chrome just to be able to keep working, I would like to use windows again.

How do I setup a live.com email address
How do I setup a live.com email address using my name when my name is a registered domain? I have a outlook.com email address using my name. Microsoft states that my name is a registered domain and will not allow a live.com address, but it allowed an outlook address using the same name. Something does not make sense.

I can't scan to the computer from the printer
After scanning a lot recently with out any problem, now the message comes up -"the scanner is in use or unavailable ( E1460 - B 305". I have tried a few things without any success such as : uninstalling the scan software and then re install, checking the connections and switching everything off, unplugging the printer and then after a minute reconnect the printer and turn back on. The computer is an Acer desktop with Windows 10 and the printer in an Epson XP - 8500 (printer and scanner ). I am still able to print from computer files as normal. Any advise/ideas would be much appreciated. Pete V
