Hello, i have a little question using/creating scripts in Powershell. In my Company we use RegEdit.exe a lot, so we want to automate some things, that's where the Problem starts... We want to disable the OneDrive shortcut in the MS-Explorer - I know that the path to do that manually is "HKEY_USERS\[SID]_Classes\CLSID\{018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6} I know how to get the SID via the cmdlet "System.Security.Principal.NTAccount($env:Username).Translate([System.Security.Principal.SecurityIdentifier]).Value", so my question now: Is there a way to get the [SID]_Classes via a cmdlet or format the "normal" [SID] using an cmdlet? Pictures on my Windows 10 laptop
I am a little tec challanged. Sense my Windows 10 updated last week, nearly all my pictures are all in groups of files. Before, they were shown in individual pictures. I have no idea what is in each file unless I open the file. I don't know how to change them back to infividual pictures. Strange that it seems that the older photos are in files and the recent ones are individual. I haven't taken any and downloaded any sense so I'm not sure where any that I take will go. As I said, I'm a little tec challanged and don't always understand the language.
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
Can anyone tell me how to install Lotus 123 5.01, SmartSuite 9.5 or 9.8 on to Windows 10 Pro 64 bit? I've read articles claiming success on the internet and I've even managed to install Lotus 123 but when I try to open the program it won't open. I do realize that there are NEWER PROGRAMS LIKE Excel but I do like Lotus and I'm in the category of teaching old dogs new tricks!! Thanks
File Explorer
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back File Explorer for Xbox. I am not trying to view any kind of movie or television, I just want to apply a shader to my Minecraft. I have already downloaded the file and extracted it using 'File Downloader'. Now all I have to do is transport the file from my local state drive into my Minecraft resource_packs. I know exactly how to do this, but cannot using any of the apps available to me on the store. Using the 'My File Explorer' app dosen't work either, because I have to go through 'AppData' from the local drive, which there is no way to do that; there is no option. I beg of you on behalf of me and a lot of Xbox One users who want to get into File Explorer.
Is Cortana any help to you?
I have tried to use the Cortana function and I have found it more of a hindrance than help. Do you use this on a regular basis?
GlobalSign
I have not down loaded the GlobalSigncom. but when I open my Virgin Media Email account, the message suddenly appears at the left of my email address that Virgin Media are not safe and some one could be reading what I am looking at. It is GlobalSign that is telling me this issue. I have tried to remove GlobalSign, but have not found a way to do this. Not sure what to do next apart from contacting Virgin Media to deal with this issue. Any one had the same problem, if so let me know or explain how to remove it from my computer. Regards

Hi, I would like to ask a Microsoft Manager, (any department will do), how would you feel after you find that your working PC is not working anymore, while you have a customer in front of you waiting to start a recording session he paid for. I have a DAW, configured with 3 monitor and one professional Dante audio interface. I run a recording studio. My work is to record musician sessions in a dynamic way, following and inspiring artists to focus on creativity and music, not on technology. Today I had to cancel the session, a band that arrived from abroad, because the last Windows update left my system in a non operative status. I am working hard to recover the technical situation, but I think I have lost a customer. They asked me: why you do not use MAC? I decided to use Windows because I was curious to see if the belief that Mac OS is better for professional recording studio was correct. I gave Microsoft credit. But, this is the third time I have this problem. It is not acceptable. I will update (should I say upgrade) the systems to Mac, but as a short term solution I have to reconfigure the DAW. Do you know what I have to do to reconfigure my system and how long it will take me? I will tell you. Read the following log. 1. AMD Radeon HD 7770 Ghz Edition - driver gone - I had to reinstall - 40 minutes 2. wrong resolution on display n.2 (LG ultrawide HDMI) - 10 min. 3. three desktop - on the display n. 1 I have icons of the previous n. 2 / on display 2 there is nothing / on disp. 3 a mess - 20 min. 4. The color management is gone! I had to run Spider5Express on 3 monitors to recalibrate the colour - 1 hour and 30 minutes 5. Audio: reconfiguration I will continue later... but... Gentleman, my feeling now is that my DAW is not really mine! Microsoft have the control on my belonging. I pay for something that I have to disconnect physically from Internet otherwise I can not avoid updates? This is unacceptable and ridiculous.
