Toggle Keys beep AND .NET audio methods stopped working
I always use "Toggle keys" feature. Press Caps, Num Lock beep suddenly stopped working. This matter is widely reported returns many suggestions which I followed without resolution. The audio troubleshooter reports no issues. Windows sound events and music work perfectly. THIS MUST BE RELATED! I develop in .NET and these 2 audio methods NO LONGER EMIT SOUND. My speakers are not muted; using maximum volume; also using headset - NO AUDIO is emitted. * System.Console.Beep(); * System.Media.SystemSounds.Beep.Play(); Both Toggle & .NET audio stopped working at the same time.

Trying to decide whether I should invest in a new laptop for an online based only small business. Need to list products, accept orders and payments, handle shipping and record keeping. I came across this analysis written by Lifewire concerning these two giants. The paragraphs below are just two that attracted my attention. 'Microsoft has decided to discontinue EdgeHTML and other core components of Microsoft Edge. Instead, the company plans to create a new version of Microsoft Edge based on Chromium. Microsoft is going to build Microsoft Edge on the foundations of Chrome, meaning that key elements like the rendering engine will be identical. What's likely to remain different are the connected services. For example, you may still sync your bookmarks with your Microsoft account instead of a Google account, and Bing will likely be the default search engine for Microsoft Edge. A common platform will make it easier for developers to create content and apps that are consistent across the major browsers'. Who want to return back to Windows 7 ?
I mean, The Windows versions best one is Windows 7. Because UI and Performance and all. I recommend my family to use windows 7 for performance and better understanding of windows.
Windows 7 Network Adapter problem
Hi I’m using Windows 7 on my Lenovo Thinkpad t420, I ran into some trouble with my network adapters, I tried some help from Google but nothing work. tried: 1. Installing new network adapters from intel. 2. Uninstalling network adapters but it’s still there. 3. System Restore. 4. Rebooting the wifi router. 5. regedit 6. cmd The computer also says code 31. I would really appreciate if you could help me with my problem! :)
Browser/search engine Which is best?
Having been an insider since 2015 I have always supported Microsoft and steered away from outside products such as Search engine/Browser choice. I use Microsoft Edge/Bing for my search engine. I would like ask what is your choice and why. I favour security and not to be tracked, security is forefront. I ask Microsoft staff and all in the community Which is recommended and why your choice you feel is best .

PC Won't Recognize External Drive
I have an HP desktop PC running Windows 10. I have a Western Digital My Passport external drive for running backups. I am using EaseUS Todo backup software. The last time I initiated a backup the PC did not recognize the drive. I changed cables and moved the drive around on different USB 3.0 connections, but could not get the PC to recognize the drive. The drive does light up so the connection is live. Why does the PC not recognize the external drive, and what can I do to fix that?
