How old is too old?
I am a substitute teacher who is preparing for the new school year. Because of the COVID -19 virus, a good number of the classes I will work with will be virtual, using assorted teleconferencing programs. I currently have a 6 year old Acer Aspire E11 laptop. Question for the community, how old does a computer have to be to be too old to use for more current applications like teleconferencing, etc.? Are there clear symptoms that my computer is too old for productive use, aside from being a little slow at startup? I Look forward to the responses. Thanks.

How do I stop this page from opening a new tab?
Hi I have Win 10 and Dragon Chrome browser. All my setting are set to: DONT OPEN ANY NEW TABS WHEN I CLICK LINKS! In Win 10 - Internet settings. It is set to "Dont open a new tab/page when I click links". Every time I click on any link here, it opens in a new tab. Even Microsoft.com, in my Microsoft account, doesnt do that. I have a google Extention that prohibits any link or command to open a NEW tab. I need to right click and open link in a new window, if I dont want to go to the link in the same windows. HOW are you forcing my system to open a new tab every time I click a link here? The logs says nothing, and developer tool shows no java/JSON hidden activation. How do I turn off, so I can click links in the community, and use the same tab/window? Its getting annying to remove tabs all the time when browsing and posting here. What new feature would you like most in the next Windows?
It seems lately the most we expect in terms of new features is security updates these days? I would like to see a major revamp to the U.I. and how about a good cleaning of legacy code out of Windows. Why not cut the fat out of the system a bit and have delineating feature set between legacy of 10 or more years ago and new. In other words try to make windows run faster on less resources. Add some new U.I. tweaks and eliminate redundant menus and settings. Add a new kernel and filesystem that is faster and more efficient. Harden the kernel further against attack and run more processes in sandbox. I would be pretty excited to see a new windows with those features, how about you?
