Redirect a game from MS Store App to a different Drive ?
Hello Community, In the old days when you wanted to install a new game a small window would pop open with a suggested drive and path to where you wanted to install the new game. You could select and accept there suggestion - Or - change the default drive letter to a different drive and path. However in the most current Windows 10 May 2004 build and the most current MS Store App I don't seam to be able to do this simple task. It always goes ahead and installs then to the OS C: drive. I know its probable something I'm missing or overlooking. I'm not a gamer, so I'm kind of at a loss and would really appreciate any Help! you can offer. So my question Is : How do I install a game from MS Store App to a different internal hard drive other than the default OS C: drive?... 🤔 Thank-You In Advance For All Your Help.

Hace casi 3 semanas que de alguna manera mi computadora dio el error 0x004f074 con lo cual me sorprendí ya que tengo la clave desde que salió windows 10 y la tengo ligada a mi cuenta, busqué la forma de solucionarlo pero no he encontrado respuesta al problema, lo que me aparece en donde es activación es: "No es posible activar windows en este dispositivo debido a que no es posible conectar con el servidor de activación de la organización. Asegúrate de estar conectado a la red de tu organización y vuelve a intentarlo. Si sigues teniendo problemas con la activación, póngase en contacto con el personal de soporte técnico de tu organización. Código de error: 0x004f074" No logro entender que es lo que pasa. Agradecería su ayuda.

black screen
recently I downloaded some upgrades, and soon after my laptop went into a BIOS update. Since then I have had no access whatsoever to my laptop. I plug it in, turn it on, get the manufacturers logo and then nothing. Total black screen. I have followed all the advise on the support pages but still have no access. It seems as if there is no contingency for someone not being able to even sign-in to their laptop. Have had to resort to using another laptop but seems as if all my data, obviously unsaved, has gone to the great 'black screen heaven' in the sky. Rather than resorting to using a hammer, can anybody furnish me with some meaningful advice?
The great dilemma.
Over many years, starting with DOS, I have seen operating systems come and go. When they do, forums like this always throw up the views of lovers and haters. Unbalanced views are the main reason I stay away from social media in general, because I try to look past my own narrow view of what is best. The world turns, not about me, but about every user and their diverse needs. In my world, computers do something useful like engineering calculation or photo manipulation. Things I couldn't do realistically or creatively without one. In the days of DOS, a computer did amazing things for me. I wrote software that designed and plotted timber frame homes. Something way ahead of what most companies at the time had to work with. Windows arrived on the scene and was more trouble than it was worth, to me, being hampered by a graphical interface that served no practical purpose. The mouse was the most useful advance of the time, back then. We all hate change when we have to face learning a different way of doing something that we did perfectly well before. As I saw it, newer versions of windows added many different ways of doing the same thing. Another unnecessary distraction because those changes bloated the interface making it harder to work quickly. I could still revert to DOS, (no I couldn't, actually) or an earlier OS like my favourite Win 7. Why don't I, probably for the same reason as those who have progressed to Win 10, latest update version. We hope we will discover something new and exciting in it. Sadly, we don't make that discovery, but we do still upgrade and chase that foolish illusion. I can't help myself and I doubt anyone else can, either. What I also see in these advancements is the challenge Microsoft (and Apple) have. How to invent a new wheel, one that looks better than the old round one and does all the things their own advertising agents think customers desperately want. The customer, like me, seems to be the problem. Stop using what we don't need.
Nokia Lumia users-success stories upgrading to a new phone?
For Nokia Lumia Windows/Microsoft users needing to upgrade to a new phone, any suggestions, any positive experiences with a new phone in this circumstance? Samsung or Google pixel experience & success stories anyone? Perhaps an I Phone, or a basic phone (abandon smart phones)? Thank you in advance for any success stories - positive experience moving from Nokia Lumia to a new phone.

I don't think it's a whacky one but you may have a different opinion 😉 Question (1) What features, according to your experience and 'needs' should Windows incorporate within the next 36 months? Question (2) What additional features could be developed within the 36 months development time that go beyond need to the realm of 'want'?

File Explorer very slow!!
When I open file explorer it scans the C: drive. When I single click a file, it scans the C: drive. If I open or modify a file (change the name) it scans the C: drive. These scans vary from 5 seconds to 20 seconds, EVERY TIME. I searched Windows defrag with the start menu search button, it brings me to optimize drives. When I run the optimizer, it completes the process in 5 seconds... but i see ZERO change in the performance of my laptop. Secondly, video media I have that used to play smoothly, suddenly plays very choppy. If it does or does not have any relation to the above problem. Thank you, Nick
Sleep function no longer working
Past few weeks, computer won't go to sleep. Was working fine previously.
