zybraxis Hi, I have a on going, project and on 4-22-20, I hope to have the final components to my endeavor of constructing my new desktop computer. I have resisted the urge to start the assembly, since I have already acquiring most of the parts. I am astounded at the possibilities, given what potential the items I have amassed, when assembled, entail. I would appreciate, any input as to something pertinent, to the pre-assembly. Materials: 1 - i9-9900K processor - Thermal Paste 1- ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E Gaming mobo SATA 6Gb/s 4 - G.SKILL ( Ripjaws V ) DDR4-3600 16GB 1.5v Intel XMP 2.0 Ready 1 - CPU >Cooler Master HYPER 212 Black Edition 4 pipe. ~ Better to return the air cooled and go with the water cooled? 2 - EVGA - Nvidia GEFORCE GTX 1070 Ti 8GB GDDR6 - RTX Enabled - DirectX 12 They come with jumpers, but are they the right SLi coupler for linking the GPU's? 2 - Samsung V-NAND SSD 860 Evo 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 1- WD HDD 1TB w/SATA 64MB Cache 1- WD HDD 250 GB 1- Seagate HDD 500 GB 1- Seagate HDD 320 GB I have several config. for setting up vhd Raid etc... but any preferences vs Cloud DB I am tempted to obtain 1- EXPRESS M.2 PCI, Should it be a 3D-NAND? For start up, it need not be big, right? 1 - COUGAR Panzer Max Black ATX Full Tower Gaming Computer Case, I haven't ever set up a case, so if any addon I should be concerned with getting or other considerations ? 1 - Thermaltake SMART SERIES 650W Power supply ~ How much would it be to my advantage, to get a 1200W? Tips on setting the processor, torx on the cooler or other possible mega-fails. A MOBO is a terrible thing to waste when they can so easily corrupted or bricked. 1 - 2 Bay Dock

Recently, I have heard conversations and comments that 'we' are spending too much time on our devices and less on our interactions with human beings. I respect these views but I do not share them. The world of the Internet and our devices (mine is a desktop computer) offers me splendid opportunities to engage with so many people across this world of ours. Whilst it is a fact that there are downsides with some aspects of the Internet connectivity, the positive opportunities are much more. For those of us who live in rural communities the Internet offers a 'window' (excuse the usage of 'Window' on the rest of the world. 😎 This particular platform is a favourite of mine 🤩 and the sense of connectivity is fantastic. Also, this platform affords me and people like me, an opportunity to explore the world of computing and its advantages. Outlooks on outlook, notes on Note
I need two pieces of guidance as wading through documents and pages is not giving me any confidence about Outlook. (1) Like I have had with Google/Gmail, can I add any number or at least say up to 5 or less extra accounts under my MS account? This issue sort of links to my second piece below because I am not sure how MS accounts work with what seems to be two distinct MS "accounts" with apps, etc. More on that below. What I want to do is what I had in Gmail and I am moving over to MS from Google. I have an blahblah@outlook.com email I see in the MS Office Outlook app. I IMAP my current Gmail and created PST folder files. What I really need most is another blahblahblah@outlook.com per se account. Like in Gmail I have AAA@gmail.com and AAB@gmail.com. Can I do this without buying another subscription? (2) I saw articles on using Outlook.com versus Outlook 365. I do not see the same things so apparently they are different, but why. Should my blahblah@outlook.com be seen in both? I use the 365 app as I pay for that anyhow. Outlook.com I assume if from my original account signup??! This is confusing and feeling trapped as I have with OneNote 2016 versus OneNote 365 and no way to combine them short of geek city. (3) I forgot to mention a third, so is there any way possible to change my MS Account ID from (no laughs now) blahblah@gmail.com? I mean I have no need now for any Google garb so is there a way short of canceling my current subscription under the Gmail ID and opening up another, same subscription details, but using my blahblah@outlook.com as the ID?? The only thing working that I get pretty much between subscriptions and Office versus .com versus app versus ???? is OneDrive. I can see that sync from W10 desktop and my iPhone. I can use OneDrive.com and use the app, it all works. Why doesn't OneNote work that well? Does Outlook work like that? Thanks for the help in advance. Such a Blah conversation. Alan
External hard drive or the cloud?
I have two external hard drives and 95% of the time use my PC and my other devices have specific purposes. I don't bother to back them up. What about you? 🤨
