in place upgrade buggy?
hi, I tried an in place upgrade on my device but got a message stating: You can't keep Windows settings, personal files and apps your current version of Windows might be installed in an unsupported directory. Tried some method of fix but to no avail. Anyone facing the issue? I have read from here https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-windows_install/windows-10-repair-upgrade-not-working/4551adb8-0f07-4ec5-ace0-00c59a8b11be that it could be a bug. Can someone confirm or let Microsoft know? By the way, for my other post, https://community.windows.com/en-us/conversations/in-place-upgrade-of-win-10-vs-re-installation-of-win-10/98cba04d-f266-4f43-b6e9-a3a734dac0c8 it shows 3 responses, but when I went to see all conversations, it only state 2. Am I the only person who uses One Drive to share files??????
I think that One Drive is fantastic for many reasons, one of which is the ability to share files with anyone just by sending them a link (email attachments are so last decade). But so often when I suggest this to a friend or colleague they look as me as though I have just landed from outer space! Yet everyone seems so familiar with Dropbox. Often when I suggest sending something via One Drive they say "just send it via Dropbox"! Why is this? For a Windows 10 user surely One Drive is so much easier. So, my conversation starter is: - "Am I the only person who likes to use One Drive for file sharing?

Where can I learn more about the Event Log?
I have figured out the basics in Event Log, but I want to be good at it. Where can I find what the error codes mean? And, how to fix them? The link you always get to help you just take me too a search page. Most of the times I dont even know what to search for. This is probably a lot of information for your engineers, for me it just makes me feel like an idiot: Microsoft.Windows.ShellExperienceHost_10.0.18999.1_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy SID (S-1-15-2-155514346-2573954481-755741238-1654018636-1233331829-3075935687-2861478708). This security permission can be changed with the Component Services administrative tool. Component service I get, but it doesn't help me very much when I don't have the slightest idea of what to change. It would be so much easier to provide relevant and good reports in Feedback Hub if I could find a way to learn more. Sincerely LokePus
