Here's an idea to improve MS Calendar and Reminders
Sharing this idea and hope that others agree it would be helpful. How many times have you said to yourself or a family member or colleague, "On the next warm day, I want to..." Or, "on the next cool day I need to, or, the next time it rains, I need to..." In other words, "To Do" list items are not only date/time relevant, they also have other attributes or triggers such as weather (as one example), or location attributes such as "the next time I'm in Boston I want to...". The could apply to business as well as personal items. This feature would bring the next level of intelligence and personalization to calendar and reminder apps. It's only a question of time as to which vendor introduces it first - and will make users become lovers of their technology/platform. Here is the link to Feedback Hub for for upvoting: https://aka.ms/AAaoz3w Thank you! (And once you implement it, please consider hiring me as well... :-)

Win. 10 20H2 - in place-upgrade bug (temporary workaround)
hi all: I started a conversation stating having an issue with the in place-upgrade while in Windows 10 20H2. Tried to fix an issue with it but cannot select the keep files, folders, etc. option. In the Microsoft community, I was given a link that this is a bug in Windows 10 20H2 and Microsoft will provide a fix for the bug in the December update Tuesday. Here is a temporary workaround to fix issues with your device but do not want to re-install Windows 10: 1) go to control panel 2) click on, Uninstall a program 3) click on View installed updates 4) right click on, Feature Update to Windows 10 20H2 via Enablement... (it will state: Uninstall. Let it run) 5) Windows is uninstalling Windows 10 20H2. After it is done, click on restart. You will be back to Windows 10 2004. You do an in place upgrade with the installation media. (if you have a USB with Windows 10 2004 or 20H2) I in place-upgrade with the 20H2 installation media. I am back at 20H2 and the issue I had is gone.

Keep your favorites in alphabetical order
If you have a lot of favorites in your Edge browser, sometimes it can be hard to find the one you're looking for, so, here's a suggestion to have them ordered in a way you can find them easily: press Ctrl+Shft+O to open the Favorites manager, then in the upper right side click on Add folder, then create 13 folders, each with a pair of letters from A-B to Y-Z, and then drag your favorites to the respective folder. For me, it's easy to find the link I'm looking for in 3 clicks. Of course you can customize the folders any way you want it, from pending/completed, most/less used, work/gaming, and so on. Have a nice day and stay safe.

Has anyone used the new PowerToys?
I'll preface this by saying I work inside of a retail store for Microsoft. I know we have a diverse range of users here on Windows Community. Was wonder if anyone has used the new PowerToys? For those not in the know, it's an application developed by Microsoft that includes some very handy utilities. It includes some cool stuff like the ability to bulk rename files and a shortcut guide for all of the handy Windows Key + [Button] shortcuts. The .msi installation file can be grabbed from our Github (Or at this link if you don't know how to get there https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/releases )

Blue/Green Screens 🤔 Part Two
Is there any way, I can apply a sound to a blue/green screen to alert me that of the situation. This would be so helpful to the visually impaired person. I have applied sound when I receive a notification - that is very useful. But I think error screens such blue/green warrants something special - like a sound of crashing musical symbols 🔊 🔔. Something that would immediately grab my attention. On December 28 2019, I experienced a serious interruption of my computer system when Windows was downloading an update. My computer ceased to work and I was unaware of the problem. Being unable to see the screen I inadvertently clicked on an error message which necessitated my having to contact Microsoft that day. I was so fortunate that the engineer on the other end of my link was helpful and very sensitive to my situation. 😊 I ask fellow contributors to take my posting as a serious request for help. The green screen oopsie the other day, heightened my concern. Many thanks and keep well.

Ability to create Local Account Removed from OOBE in 1903
Yesterday I attempted to set up my PC but during the New PC setup the computer refused to allow me to set up the computer with a local account, and it forced me to log-in to my Microsoft account to set up the PC. I even called MS support and told this was an intentional change and the only way around it was to login to the MS account, and then remove the MS account after I got into windows. I was able to work around this by temporarily disconnect my house's internet, and at that point it allowed me to create a local account, but it's absurd that the first time set up is now FORCING people to set up a MS account linked to their computer. I understand that MS wants to put pressure on people to do it that way, but TOTALLY REMOVING the option to create a local account is a low blow. I often reset my PC to help clear out the junk and get it running fresh, and I prefer to set up my PC as a local account during set up so I can specify what my user folder is named, and get a chance to disable some system apps like Skype that I don't want to run before I log into my MS account. (ps, since I'm not sure if OOBE is a real term or something I made up, it's short for Out Of Box Experience, the first time set up wizard that windows puts you through the first time it boots after installing windows or resetting windows.)
