Disk usage 100%
I have lenovo ideapad 320 laptop, since last month i'm facing 100% disk usage. i disabled windows search and superfetch services. i updated latest version to windows 20H2 update. i run disk check. i also reset vitrual memory. i've tried almost everything but i'm facing this issue, please anyone help!!

There are LOTS of Utilities that are from Microsoft, The Systernal Utilities. Do you find yourself talking directly to your computer? π€¨
I have a tendency to talk to my computer. May sound a bit daft! π€¨ If I am under pressure for whatever reason, or I am searching for a reference and cannot find it, I talk AT my computer - most likely with exasperation that anything else; not that this helps me to find the resource any quicker though. If I have the radio on in the background and the news is being broadcasted, I most definitely voice my opinion on the subject matter to my computer (which thankfully remains silent - unless Narrator is switched on). π² Then that becomes a whole different ball game if I am working on a Word document. π€£ Has being on lockdown changed your behaviour towards your computer? If we have a more extended lockdown and have to work from home for a prolonged period of time, will this influence/change our working behaviours? Your PoV please π Keep well.
Narrator is running silent on me βΉ
Narrator is one of the best apps for me. Being visually impaired I use frequently to read incoming emails, documents etc. Following the download of kb4558244, (01/05/2020) the narrator will not read text. I am 'rudderless' without this feature. π I have reported the 'bug' via the Feedback hub and I can only hope that normal service will be resumed as quickly as possible. Anyone else having this problem or any problem following kb4558244? π€ Update as of 16:35 hours (UK) time Windows Insider Team has responded to my query 'at pace' π€© - I thank them for their attention to the problem. ππ Narrator has been restored as my screen reader. π
Last Windows 10 update and Office Pro 2013
Ever since the last update to Windows 10, my Outlook crashes constantly for things ranging from not communicating with Excel and Adobe Pro to something as simple as trying to switch from Contacts tab to Mail tab. I have submitted logs and the re-created issues recordings several times via Feedback Hub. I have contacted Office support 4 times, and only once I thought the issues had been resolved. Well, most were - all except this crashing thing. With and without tech support I have uninstalled and reinstalled my Office 2013 at least five times. I wanted to go back to a restore point, but discovered that I have none now! Surely I am not alone in this predicament. I am losing productivity in my office and I am losing faith in this software.

Windows Updates: Incompatibility Issue/s
If you have an INCOMPATIBILITY ISSUE/s in updating Windows 10 newer version/s. You will be stuck in your present version(e.i. v1909) until issue/s will be resolved or take a risk doing some tweaks in your window system. Example: Windows 10 v1909: Conexant ISST audio drivers still an issue hasn't been address until now. π°π°π° But, if your PC/Laptop is under warranty, MAYBE you can demand for replacement. You just have to TRY, your customer service may grant you.πππ ** Possibly, after APRIL PATCH TUESDAY an OPTIONAL UPDATE FOR 21H1 will appear in Windows Update.π€π€π€
Update ver. 2004 Let's hear about your problems.
There are always tricks and hacks to bypass some unwanted updates and their side effects, and the previous update made the sound volume go up to 80% ,this time as well 80%. Some of you experience it too, and for those like me using headphones it's no joke, especially that the level i listen to music etc. is seldom beyond 6%. (Feedback has been sent by me many weeks ago.) The 2004 version finally prevents me from using the old search, where the results get updated as i type in the file explorer search box, and ever since i was ok with the search being slow or not showing all results, it was ok as long i did not have to take additional steps in order to get to any results. As of today i am literally forced to perform one more action in order to obtain the search results, which as most of you know, is by either clicking on the arrow in the file explorer search box, or hitting the enter key on keyboard. I may mention the tool i found today that is not the best, but is not missing any file out of the search results, is fast & allows a lot customization. The name of that search tool is 'Everything.exe' and can be integrated in the shell menu as well as in the file explorer drop down menu or mouse right click. This thing can literally search for any file and despite being set to use index created by windows search, it shows all files. After clicking on 'rebuild' which creates index from scratch the 'Everything.exe' did still show all files....so a 3rd party executable is capable of something widnows after all these years is not. This is just sad. The previous update asked me about location preferences and so on. Why do i have to select same check boxes each time? Now the last thing would be Cortana, which i disabled, but after the update not only the cortana symbol appeared on the taskbar, but cortana got enabled. Apparently Windows is about productivity, yet updates will not be complete unless i confirm some settings, and the search takes more time. Productivity?
Command line and system time are no friends
One of my many hobbies is batch converting, parsing and renaming files, mostly bcoz i'm lazy. Now, recently i got to dislike the time/date format, so i went settings and changed it...to my surprise, it not only changed how i see the date, but also how command line gets the %date% , which kinda broke my batch. Do i now have to retype everything an synth the date so that it works with cmd? or does anyone here have a solution for this odd problem? What is more surprising i can't recall such thing while on win7.
