Add a drive for backup setting
I wanted to use file history to backup after watching the Backup Video. I have a 2 TB USB drive with some file directories but it has 1.2 TB free space. I clicked the 'Add a Drive' and it searched and returned with a 'No usable drives found.' Does the external drive must be completely empty?
When I connect to 5GHz network, it says no internet
I have always been able to connect to the 5GHz network until recently when I realized I've been using the 2.4GHz network and I'm wondering why I am not able to connect to it. It just happened so suddenly.
Why can't I get connected to devices on my home network?
Every time there is a windows 10 update I get a pop-up asking me if I want to connect to my Android devices; I can't even connect to my windows devices on my home network. Why is there no support for this. I've followed all the instructions for making my devices visible and for file and folder sharing but I still can't see or connect to them.

Finding your IP address

Changing system name broke direct ethernet connection
I have two windows 10 desktops wired together with ethernet they are going through a switch. But that switch does not have internet. System A has wifi, with internet access. System B is only connected to system A. I shared files over network in file explorer. But then I changed the name of system B, through the system info settings. And now it won't show up in network on System A or B, but it can still access system A. I can still ping bewtween the two systems. But I can't see System B. Why did changing the name of this system break my connection? How do I fix this issue?

Configuring Proxy Server on Laptop manually
I am having problems when I restart my laptop and try to go online, I get proxy server errors, When I go into my settings, Network and Internet, Proxy, the Manual Proxy is checked instead of the Automatic Proxy Detection button. How do I manually configure the proxy server so it saves the information when I reboot.
In Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, select Start, start typing Network and Sharing Center, and then choose it in the list. In Windows 10, select Start, then select Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network and Sharing Center. Select Set up a new connection or network. Select Set up a new network, then choose Next.
To get to the Network screen: Press the Xbox button to open the guide. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.
Windows 10 lets you quickly check your network connection status. And if you're having trouble with your connection, you can run the Network troubleshooter to try and fix it. Select the Start button, then select Settings > Network & Internet > Status. Check your network connection status
