In Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, select Start, start typing Network and Sharing Center, and then choose it in the list. In Windows 10, select Start, then select Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Network and Sharing Center. Select Set up a new connection or network. Select Set up a new network, then choose Next.

To get to the Network screen: Press the Xbox button  to open the guide. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.

Windows 10 lets you quickly check your network connection status. And if you're having trouble with your connection, you can run the Network troubleshooter to try and fix it. Select the Start button, then select Settings > Network & Internet > Status. Check your network connection status

Select Start, then select Settings > Network & Internet. Do one of the following: For a Wi-Fi network, select Wi-Fi > Manage known networks. Choose the network you want to change the settings for, then select Properties.
