New Background Images In Windows 10 Mail App ✉
Hello Fellow Community Members And Staff, I recently received the New Windows 10 Mail App Version 16005.13426.20316.0 through the Microsoft Store as a update as normal. So like always, I was looking through the Mail App settings to see what was new if anything and when I came to the "Personalization" section I noticed that there are now Twelve Beautiful New Wallpaper Images to choose from for your Mail App. (IMO) this is a definite improvement to the old ones we've had for years now. Thank-You Microsoft for this nice touch and new artwork. 😊 How Many Of You Have Noticed Them? Likes/Dislikes?

What the pop is going on? I turned on my laptop and it immediately changed the home screen to match that on my desktop. Why is this happening? Is this some feature no one ever asked for? How does one turn it off.

Stop releasing updates that don't do anything meaningful.
No one cares about new personalization features or what colour theme you're using so stop releasing updates that have no purpose. Or at least stop making them "mandatory" or combining mandatory updates with them. If I cared about how my desktop looked, I'd buy a Mac. I own a PC because wasting system resources on cosmetic BS is stupid to me... looks like I may not be using the right operating system even still. I need the security updates for your swiss cheese operating system but I don't want to have to sit and stare at a swirling circle icon while my computer picks which colour to theme my PC to today. Talk about being out of touch with your client base.
Do you use the normal start menu or the full screen start?
There are many customisable options in Windows 10, and, one of the best is, you could change the look of your start menu. I use it in full screen, and do turn it on, go to settings>personalisation>start>use start full screen. Now, when you hit or click the Windows icon, you would notice that the Start Menu would pop up in a 'full screen' view, which gives it somewhat a look like Chrome operating system (really?) It isn't much, it's worth trying... Do you prefer the start menu being as it is? Or would you like to make it full screen?

Hi, ever felt like making your taskbar bit less opaque? Let's see how to do it... Normal method: Go to settings>Personlisation>Colours>Turn on transparency effects Bit advanced [registry edit]: Press Windows + R>Type regedit>Hit enter>Go to the following path: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced (warning:check the path correctly!) Click advanced and richt click on the list that's shown on the right>Select new>DWord (32 bit) Value and rename that value as UseOLEDTaskbarTransparency (warning:spelling must be right!) Double click on what you created and set the value to one. Then close the Registry Editor, open Task Manager and find File Explorer. Right click on file explorer and click restart. That's it! If you want your taskbar to be more transparent, then install TransluscentTB or TaskbarX.
New MSN News Pages Layout In MS Edge
Hello Windows Community Members And Staff, I Just noticed the other day the New Article Page Layout when using my MS Edge Browser and reading the MSN Articles. I truly Enjoy this clean new look and feel to the pages especially towards the top or beginning of a article where we can "Rate" the Article with a emoji. To me this is a very nice touch, and we can see the majority of the peoples votes and feel that we are participating . Thank-You Microsoft! this really improves the look and feel and allowing us to Participate. How Many Others Are Using This New Feature ?... Likes/Dislikes ?...
Here's an idea to improve MS Calendar and Reminders
Sharing this idea and hope that others agree it would be helpful. How many times have you said to yourself or a family member or colleague, "On the next warm day, I want to..." Or, "on the next cool day I need to, or, the next time it rains, I need to..." In other words, "To Do" list items are not only date/time relevant, they also have other attributes or triggers such as weather (as one example), or location attributes such as "the next time I'm in Boston I want to...". The could apply to business as well as personal items. This feature would bring the next level of intelligence and personalization to calendar and reminder apps. It's only a question of time as to which vendor introduces it first - and will make users become lovers of their technology/platform.
