White / Black screen
Why when I just logged in with my pin before it went to that screen it was a white screen I never seen that happen before. and when I open chrome it blinks for a min black screen. I ran all the test like SFC /scan now before I was gone a bit and it said windows didn't find anything. and I have no viruses. Please give me some insight why this happened.

Lock/Login screen - select account / set default account
On the first screen (well, after I entered my Bitlocker PIN ;-)) the account I use most is listed last in the left hand corner, and not the default account. I always have to select it using the mouse (or touch). I would like to use my keyboard (e.g. up/down arrows) to select the account I want to sign in with. Also, I would like to have the most or last used account selected by default (or have a way to configure it somewhere in the settings). The device I use is my personal laptop, it is just that I have multiple accounts on it for different purposes.

How to create your own Toolbar.
Toolbar is an excellent way to quickly access your files and documents without having to open File Explorer. All you have to do is Right Click on the Task Bar. Once the Menu opens up simply click on Toolbars. Now click on New Toolbar. A File Explorer window opens up. Where it says Folder: Simply Click on the Folder you want to have quick access to. For example; I have a huge collection of documents that I use routinely on my computer. I want to be able to quickly access them without having to waste a lot of time finding the file I need. All I have to do is make a Toolbar named Documents. Now all I have to do is click on Documents on the task bar and I can see all the documents in my Documents Folder and simply click on the one I want to open it up. Hope this helps to make your day a little bit better.

Instead of an Icon on Your Taskbar
Tip #762: Instead of placing a This PC icon on the taskbar change File Explorer to opening it instead of Quick Access. Hit Win, type Folde > File Explorer Options, hit it & change "Open File Explorer to" from Quick Access to This PC, hit OK. Now, when hitting File Explorer from your Jump List it will open This PC, instead of Quick Access & thus the This PC icon is not needed. Cheers, Drew

Starting Word Without Displaying the Word Splash Screen
Tired of seeing the Word splash screen every time that you start Microsoft Word? You can create a shortcut to Word with a command-line switch on the desktop. Here's how: 1. Right-click the desktop, point to "New," and then click "Shortcut." 2. Type "winword /q" (without the quotation marks) and press ENTER. 3. Type "Start Word Without Splash Screen" (again without the quotation marks) and press ENTER. TIP: You can pin a shortcut to the taskbar for quicker access.

Do you like the search icon or search box or it hidden?
At any point, we would like to customize our Windows desktop, isn't it? By hiding the Cortana icon, task view icon and removing unnecessary apps pinned to the taskbar could make your taskbar more tidy. I personally hide the search box and add the search icon, I don't know why. I feel like I don't even need the search icon too, I mostly use the shortcut Windows + S to open search, but even when I hide the search icon I pretty much feel like my taskbar is not complete. What do you prefer, the search icon or the search box or nothing at all?

antivirus
Yes I got Avast security just to try it out and my MacAfee still scans and defender does to. When I cut off Avast MacAfee don't start right back up so of course Avast says not protected. I like Avast but it keeps wanting you to buy more stuff. It has stuff MacAfee don't witch I like. I'm still have my subscription on MacAfee until next year . I did AVAST because I thought a virus got though so now I'm at a loss. will MacAfee go back to normal if I uninstall AVAST? MacAfee works when I hit on it to do things. And now some things don't open up on my tool bar that I have pinned so.
