Won't update
A couple weeks ago my laptop stopped downloading/installing most Microsoft updates. And when I looked at update history everything before 29 April 2021 was gone. I have updates successfully installed under "Quality Updates, KB5003169 ( 5/11/2021) and KB4023057 (04/29/2021), and under "Other Updates" is KB8090830 (5/11/2021). Other updates are listed as Failed to Install. When I pull up the Windows Update page there is an alert saying "Your device is missing important security and quality fixes" and will not update/download anything. I don't know if any of this info helps you. Please be kind, I'm an old lady on social security. LOL. Is Windows 10 is The Better Option Than Windows 8?
Hello, I am currently working on my laptop which works very greatly with the help of Windows 8 and I have no issue regarding this version of Window. But I am also curious to check Windows 10 and I am sure that it will be as good as Windows 7 which in my opinion the best and perfect Windows ever. Before thinking about installing a new Window, I read various articles about the issues which will appear if I install Windows 10. As I have no proper knowledge about Windows and Windows 10 so I came here to clear all my doubts. Someone says that "Windows 10 is not a good option for install Windows updates". Failed to Log-in properly and various issues regarding this topic. It consumes more data than other Windows and has lack security in the Wi-fi section. I am currently working as the Manager and Service Provider at the tilers Perth company. These are my top issues and I hope that you are able to solve my query as soon as possible.

Pinning Websites
I'm sure some of you may have noticed, while others may have not, but you can no longer pin websites to the start screen, even by pinning it to your taskbar and dragging to your start screen, it can no longer be done. I've been aware of this, and have working around it, but after this last update....... ok, well we'll leave it at that... I was chatting with Microsoft Tech support this afternoon, and after I finally got them to try and pin a web site to their start screen, they admitted they couldn't do it either. Funny though they had a work around? So here's the work around, and it involve Google Chrome! Open the website you want to pin to your Windows 10 Start Screen in Google Chrome. Yea, you read that right! Once your website is open, click on the three dots located in the upper right hand corner. Scroll down until you sees More Tools. Hover over that and choose Create Shortcut... a pop up will appear where you name your shortcut, and here is where it gets important! You need to check the box that says Open as Window, then click create. Now go back to your start screen and under recently added apps you will see your recently added website. There is one last step. With it there you will not be able to move it around. So while it is in the Recently Added Apps right click and choose Pin to Start Menu. Voila! You're done, and your websites are now back on your start screen. Let's do hope that the boys and girls in Redmond fix this!
