Why Goes Windows 10 block Google Search Engine?
I just want to complain about why I have to reset my access to Google Search Engine every time Windows 10 does an update. I DO NOT like the other search engines - and I have tried them. I think it's really tacky of Microsoft to be so petty about making it hard to use products or services from other companies - even if the solution is BETTER for the customer's needs. I'm stuck with Windows for the next couple of years, but my next laptop will probably NOT be a PC.

Windows 10 Update Assistant from 20H2 to 21H1
I used Windows 10 Update Assistant to get the NEW v21H1. The Windows 10 Update Assistant will tell/notify/warned you if your system is ready/compatible to take the v21H1, if NOT you don't have to forced it into your system. https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10 š I performed what is necessary for my system or PC/Laptop, then I proceed to Download, Installation & Update. š Everything is finished without a problem/error/bug/notification or unusual performance or activities on the screen. š I performed manual check on my system. In the Event Viewer shows number of errors: 74 AppReadiness, 10 Service Control Manager, 5 Print Service(I unplug my printer) as the updates is on going, based on the time, and NO CRITICAL shown!! š No worries, because as I tested my Apps all is running as it used to be. https://community.windows.com/en-us/conversations/finally,-the-road-to-sun-valley-is-here/6724c550-bb34-4c48-b013-3318bb20142a Just sharing... I had a work PC configured, then Microsoft forced an update
Hi, I would like to ask a Microsoft Manager, (any department will do), how would you feel after you find that your working PC is not working anymore, while you have a customer in front of you waiting to start a recording session he paid for. I have a DAW, configured with 3 monitor and one professional Dante audio interface. I run a recording studio. My work is to record musician sessions in a dynamic way, following and inspiring artists to focus on creativity and music, not on technology. Today I had to cancel the session, a band that arrived from abroad, because the last Windows update left my system in a non operative status. I am working hard to recover the technical situation, but I think I have lost a customer. They asked me: why you do not use MAC? I decided to use Windows because I was curious to see if the belief that Mac OS is better for professional recording studio was correct. I gave Microsoft credit. But, this is the third time I have this problem. It is not acceptable. I will update (should I say upgrade) the systems to Mac, but as a short term solution I have to reconfigure the DAW. Do you know what I have to do to reconfigure my system and how long it will take me? I will tell you. Read the following log. 1. AMD Radeon HD 7770 Ghz Edition - driver gone - I had to reinstall - 40 minutes 2. wrong resolution on display n.2 (LG ultrawide HDMI) - 10 min. 3. three desktop - on the display n. 1 I have icons of the previous n. 2 / on display 2 there is nothing / on disp. 3 a mess - 20 min. 4. The color management is gone! I had to run Spider5Express on 3 monitors to recalibrate the colour - 1 hour and 30 minutes 5. Audio: reconfiguration I will continue later... but... Gentleman, my feeling now is that my DAW is not really mine! Microsoft have the control on my belonging. I pay for something that I have to disconnect physically from Internet otherwise I can not avoid updates? This is unacceptable and ridiculous.

Windows product key verification
Hi there, I have a laptop that came with Windows 10 Pro. I use my pc for work, the company added a work user as the admin on my PC. When I leave the company they will remove that user and its information, which is fine. The problem comes in that I once this has been done I want to do a PC restore, so that I am sure that any permissions or restrictions etc they've put on are removed. What I'm worried about is that I don't know if the laptop originally came with Windows 10 Pro or whether the supplier simply upgraded it to Pro. I have found my product key using the CMD function, but I was wondering if there is any way I can verify that it is in fact a Pro license and not a Home license. Please assist if possible on how/where I can verify this.

10S to Pro
I'm looking to gift a Windows 10 S to Pro tablet and have read the good and bad about switching. I've read the articles, watched the videos, still don't have to T-shirt though. If you've done this what was your experience, and was it worth it? To others in here, not to hurt your feelings but if you haven't done it please don't bother replying, as I've said I've watched the videos and read the articles. Thanks

Pressing ALT + F4 closes the Command Prompt window
If you press ALT + F4 in a Command Prompt window, it closes. This is the same as clicking the X button or typing exit and pressing ENTER. Pressing ALT + F4 to close Command Prompt only works on Windows 10.
