Windows update caused chaos
Last Windows update came to my Surface without warning. It was already there when I started. Suddenly a couple of days later I found out that my HDD was full and Pc in difficulties. I found out that Update had diverted my OneDrive sync process automatically to my HDD and filled it completely. I am still trying to solve this disaster. HDD has difficulties in cleaning and OD has difficulties in syncing. Before Update everything went fine since I unchecked File on demand as I do not trust OneDrive anymore for all my files. I had external drive for all my files and OD was synchronized with this external drive without problems. Without any warning Windows started diverting and syncing all my files to my HDD and oveloading it. What a disaster! As I can not trust any online company for monopoly of all my files I can not accept the File-on-demand option. Windows is obviously trying to make this monopoly power obligatory. Which makes me consider another cloud service. At the moment I have my data fortumnately on my external drive. I am trying to delete OneDrive from HDD but it seems in difficulties. There is no space left for this process. I tried to uninstall OneDrive program from HDD in order to reinstall on external drive, but HDD could not uninstall. Microsoft has made a violent invation on my PC and caused a complete chaos. Any assistance to this problem?

Microsoft has created some of the most innovative products ever but more often than not they are discontinued. If you could bring back one discontinued product for a refresh what would it be? For me it would be the Band. The Band 2 was very comfortable, had amazing capabilities wrapped in a small package and the battery lasted for a long time. So what would you bring back?
School and work accounts - Find my device
Hello, Can someone give me the backstory to why Find my Device cannot be used if a School or Work account has be added? I am trying to set up Find my Device but can't. The verbage on the page notes "If you've connected a work or school account, Find My device won't work." Cheers T

Sticky Notes Insights not working as web site shows
I love the new version of Sticky Notes and how it interfaces with all of my devices. I use it constantly! But I haven't been able to completely use Insights. Here's my notes from the FAQs for Sticky Notes. I am using a Surface Pro 4 (OS build 18363.1016) and Surface GO (OS build 19041.450) and Sticky Notes 3.7.142.0 Does anyone have a similar experience? Office 365 error on windows 10
Have tried support and the tech couldn't understand the issue.... it seemed he felt it wasn't an issue or didn't understand at all. In summary. personal Microsoft ( consumer) account with an attached an o365 account several ways Workplace account Windows 10 mail Credential manager (confirmed there, not modified) Outlook 16 every time reboot or recover from sleep I have to re-authenticate through the o365 portal to go daddy site for email, onedrive, SP designer etc. Office apps don't prompt consistently but come up with odd webapp / element login prompts occasionally that use the std o365 interface. I have recreated profiles, refreshed my surface to test a fresh setup. removed and re-added all apps and workplace accounts etc. but cant seem to get SSO / pass though auth. I'm having a hard time on the forum here finding anyone with the exact same issue which troubles me. anyone have any idea what I do next? Too many emails?
10-30-2020 Hello folks, During the last two or three months, MS/Windows has been sending warnings about a high percentage of emails in my box, with a veiled, or maybe very obvious, warning of dire consequences: $$$ When I opened the area/tab where it warned of a high percentage of mail, it "offered the opportunity" to purchase 365, which I definitely do not want to do. I purchased office at a set price, with the understanding that there would be no additional charges. But, in view of the threat of cancelling/negating my use of the Internet, I decided to erase as many emails as time would allow me. A few weeks ago, I erased more than 2,700 emails; two days later, the warning that I had used 96% +++ of my allotment, surfaced again. Two or three days ago, I erased over 700 emails. Once again, now it shows 94%. I think the MS/Windows agenda is very clear: to trick me into signing up for something I do not need nor want. After erasing +/- 3,400 emails, the score has only gone from 96% to 94%. I find Apple's approach to extra storage for $.99 monthly simply honest. I have subscribed to Hotmail/etc. for many years, peacefully, but now this seems like a new trick to syphon money. Since I have spent soooo much time erasing emails with such a small results, I am simply at a loss as to what to do. Suggestions, please, Juan José Rodríguez S.
