History of Windows Since 1985
I am writing this message as a suggestion to devote a website to the various versions of Windows along with a description of major additions and improvements of one build over its predecessor from the original Windows (release date 11.20.85) up to and including Windows 10 (release date 07.29.15). A lot of changes have happened since Windows first appeared in 1985 and from time to time I will think about the evolution of and the countless changes to the program that single handedly revolutionized personal computing as we know it today. Just the change in size of programming code from way back then to now is mind boggling! I remember getting a new computer with a 60 MB (Yep, MB) hard drive and how I was envied by co-workers. We thought a 60 MB storage drive would be more than enough to meet any future needs. Nowadays, some office documents and many stand alone apps are that size and greater. Microsoft has every reason to brag on its accomplishments and contributions to the tech industry in just over 30 years. Displaying these events would not only be of historical importance but perhaps an educational tool as well. A virtual tour and perhaps enabling online access to functional prior operating systems would be interesting to young and old (Yes, I'm on the "old" side). Anyway, you folks are more than talented to come up with the best way to exhibit this idea to share with the world. Maybe its been discussed before but if not I just wanted to encourage a thought process to consider its viability. It could also be an excellent tool to market Microsoft into future generations. In any event, congratulations to Microsoft and its employees for past accomplishments and best wishes for continued success! Thank you for your consideration in this matter, your time and talent! God bless all of you and yours, and bye for now, Paul
Windows Search Index high resources usage.
There is a sudden, increase in the resource usage (CPU, RAM, DISK) by windows search indexing. So i tried running troubleshooter. this didn't helped. Then in command prompt, i tried running sfc scannow with administrative privileges. This also didn't helped. At last i had to turn it off by heading over to service manager. But i don't want to turn it off. Please help ! I am currently on latest version of windows 10.

new Microsoft Edge today (?) April 10
Hmm...oddly enough, on the Rewards section today is a prompt to download a new version of Microsoft Edge. Suggestions? I don't recall seeing advance information, nor much information for the download prompt, so any details or experience would be appreciated. Why wouldn't this be just a routine update from Microsoft? Pros, Cons?

Is a FB App for Windows gone?
Good day, does anyone have information about a Windows app for Face Book going away? I have used this with good results for quite awhile, perhaps seeing fewer ads than others, but today I was asked to sign in and then informed (by FB?) that the app was no longer available?
AGGIORNAMENTO WINDOWS VERSIONE 20H2
Was Windows Vista really a bad operating system?
After a 6 year drought from Microsoft, in 2007, Microsoft launched its new operating system: Vista. Right off the bat its system requirements were higher simply because of the great features that it had up its sleeve. Most people regarded many of the new features as unnecessary and termed it as bloatware, which I would consider unreasonable. Undoubtedly, Vista had its fair share of bugs and issues, but nothing is perfect, right? Mainly the reason that I think that Vista had all these bugs and issues was probably due to the fact that Microsoft was probably pressed for time, as they reset development of what was supposed to be Vista, also known to some as Windows Codename Longhorn. This time pressure may have resulted in Microsoft attempting to hurry the launch as I believe that XP was starting to get a little outdated. Furthermore, I believe that consumers also let their hopes a little too high, understandibly, since Microsoft had not launched a new version in 6 years, evoking thoughts that Microsoft was working on something really big. Honestly speaking, we should not really vent at the bad things about Vista, because if you look at modern operating systems, features that set them apart from legacy operating systems, whether you talk about looks, design, functionality, or redundancy were mainly pioneered in Windows Vista. Even competing operating systems can be found with features that first appeared in Vista. This just goes to say that if Vista did not exist, or if such an OS was not made, then modern tools that are ubiquitous and taken for granted would have not existed. So in conclusion, Vista had its bugs and issues, and was not well recieved, and it makes sense, but Vista is the sturdy foundation of modern OSes, and it is that huge leap of faith which paid off in its twin successor, aka everyone's favorite version of Windows, the beloved Windows 7, which is just Vista 2.0 with more consistency if you ask me. Thank you for taking your time to read this essay!
