Having a program run each time you sign in to Windows
If you use a program frequently, you may want to add it to the Start-up folder. Here's how: 1. Right-click Start, click Run, type "shell:startup" (without the quotes) and then press ENTER. 2. Click Start, type the name of a program, right-click a program in a list of results, and then click Open file location. 3. Right-click a program's icon, click Copy, right-click inside the Start-up window, and then click Paste. Alternatively, you can use Registry Editor to have a program run each time you start Windows. Here's how: WARNING: Registry Editor (REGEDIT.EXE) is a very powerful tool that lets you directly modify the registry. However, incorrect use of Registry Editor can cause serious, system-wide problems including hard disk corruption, general instability, or the inability to use your computer. It may be necessary for you to reinstall your operating system to correct the problems. Microsoft does not support modifying the registry. Use this tool at your own risk. 1. Press WINDOWS LOGO + R, type "regedit" (without the quotes) and then press ENTER. 2. Double-click the following registry keys: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run 3. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click String Value. 4. Type the name of a program and press ENTER. (For example, PowerShell Core.) 5. Double-click a newly-created value, type the drive, path, and the name of a program, and then press ENTER. (For example, C:\Program Files\PowerShell\6\pwsh.exe) 6. Exit Registry Editor. NOTE: On Windows 10 20H1, if you right-click a program, click Properties, and then click the Compatibility tab, you can enable "Register this program for restart." On Windows 10 May 2020 Update and later, if you shut down your PC while programs are left open, they will be restored when you turn your PC back on.
After windows update, Auto repair shows on bootup
so there's an automatic update downloaded on my laptop, specifically the 2020-12 cumulative update for windows 10 version 2004 for x86-based systems (KB4592438). I shut down my laptop, and it was automatically updated. Later i opened the laptop, It shows on boot screen 'Preparing Automatic Repair' i waited and it shows that it failed, i restarted the system but it is still the same (it failed). I searched on the net on the things that i can do, I treied startup repair and some things on Command prompt, yet i didn't work. then I did the system restore thing, waited an hour then my pc booted up fine. once im inside the system, it shows that some apps are not working (its fine cause they are just bloatwares), but the update was prompted again to the laptop. I saw that it was already downloaded again (since i am not pausing updates) and just waiting for computer to restart ('pending restart'). I am now scared to shut down or restart the laptop because i might not be able to fix the problem if it happens again. Can you give me some tips on what to do, is there any problem with this update? UPDATE: I clicked restart and update. The pc restarted, but the windows update is still in there. The same 2020-12 update. I paused now the update (the 7 day option) and shut down the laptop. I hope it will be okay cause i badly need it to work.

Windows Community's (a.k.a. "Moderator") idea about Tires
Windows Community (a.k.a. "Moderator") recently said on my conversation, Windows/Microsoft Tires (https://community.windows.com/en-us/conversations/windows-microsoft-tires/0ae32fb1-84a7-41b4-98c7-ec3588f7fd2b), "Anne was teaching herself the Microsoft Artificial Intelligence School. Combine Kam's IOT skills with Anne's AI and you've got a pretty powerful combination. Although if you went through all of that effort, I'm not sure bike tires will be the best use of your super powers" Windows Community (not a.k.a. "Moderator. but the whole community"), do you think that is a great idea. Also, Moderator, My son's planning to become Microsoft's CEO in about 20 years or so.
How would you rate Windows Community if it was an app?
How would you rate Windows Community on a scale from 1 (very low) to 10 (extreme)? My rating is 9/10; inappropriate content should be removed immediately by spam filters; and should have grammar and spell checkers, because then if a post is not grammatical, it can be identified as spam, what I mean are posts like: ggggg or: weugrrrrrrrrfbEUW And for good posts, if there is a word misspelled, then the grammar checker can identify it and therefore it wouldn't be spam.
Do you have any fond memories of first using Windows?
Are there any memories you have that you look back on an reminisce dealing with Windows/Microsoft PC?

Windows Hello Face Recognition doesn't work with my Camera!
Some of you asked you are using the latest version of Windows 10 and you have camera, but when you open Windows Hello, it shows device is not available. It is because not all cameras would support face recognition for Windows Hello and the camera should support certain features like: Ability to detect your face in dark Recognize you are human and not picture of human Differentiate similarity like twins Make sure you are the true owner of device Normal camera won't be able to support these features , traditional face recognize software could be fooled by showing photo of owner, doing some make up, not working well in dark condition and so on. Therefore, you will need special hardware to make sure it works well. In this case, check with your device manufacturer to see whether the device is ready for Windows Hello. You could also purchase external camera supporting Windows Hello and connect it with USB to your PC.
computer viruses not removed with windows defender products
windows 7-8-10: Windows defender does not work well as an antivirus program . I am wondering why MS doesnt tell customers to buy an antivirus program and continue to use it. i found an ISASS.exe in my computer . it took over about 30 percent of the folders. i tried to quaranine it and report it . i couldnt it attacks the security options first and greyed them out so i couldnt submit the problem. i took those computers to BEST BUY STAPLES OFFICE MAX and other private tech services. no one could actually remove the virus. i bought a new hard drvie at BEST BUY.. the computer was there for 3 days. At the store on pick up a hacker started to elongate the scroller button on the scroll bar side. i told the tech the virus was still in my system. they charged me $250 anyway.. said if there was a problem bring it back. i tried four times no one removed it !! NEVER take it out of the store if you see the same issue. I want to know why MS never helps targeted customers get those viruses out and why you dont have a more aggressive program to remove those kind of thnigs. I SASS.exe is not new but Windows defender in 7-8 10 doesnt remove any of it. we are brainwashed not to be concerned about it. thats how you end up buying three more computers cause the original one is over taken and crashed. Also EN US is an african hacking ring not an english based language progrm. PAM TOLL PARK FOREST IL Jan 14 2021
