A lot of people know stuff like CTRL + C (Copy) and CTRL + V (Paste), but what are your favorite keyboard shortcuts? I'll go first... π€π€£ππ±βππΉ EMOJIS! By pressing the Windows key (the button next to Alt) and . at the same time it will bring up the emoji keyboard. Windows doesn't really tell you this anywhere, so many people don't know it exists. Spice up a dry e-mail with some expressive faces. π Anyway, what are your favorite keyboard shortcuts?

Computer crashes with a blue screen
Approximately 1 1/2 months ago my computer started to crash with a blue screen and a stop code message appears. At first it was a couple weeks between, then it went to weekly and now it is daily, 3 or 4 times.
Clean Install and still running into problems.
When ever Windows came out I run into problems on the regular. Every Clean install is from a CD or USB and I downloaded it that day. I just downloaded on 4/2/21. After 2 days of running it becomes unstable. How? 1. I run a program called BOINC "the reason I run it 24/7". And the Project it's running is Asteroids@home for GPU work. Windows runs fine for nearly 2 days and then my computer is laggy. After I suspend all GPU work... It's fine. After restarting my computer and start running the SAME GPU work. It's fine now. That's not all... 2. Taskbar crashes, well... disappears and reappears and some programs that run in the background that put icons on the bottom right are not running "meaning not there anymore. It loves taking out EVGA Precision X, X OC, X 16 of any version. 3. Can't lower resolution lower then 4K. When lowing it from Windows settings is says it's at 1080 but my TV still says 4K. Games can't lower it either. Gams that don't support it I can't play "exp: Bejeweled 3". It did for a while on older versions of Win 10. 4. HDR does or doesn't work. I have an HDR TV. Certain games will enable HDR? Even though the game doesn't support HDR. 5. Devices randomly disconnect and reconnect because I hear the audio prompt and/or popup notice. 6. Keyboard stop working in Feedback Hub but backspace works just fine. After switching from Sticky Notes to Feedback Hub it started working again and it did it again. It's been 4 days now. The only thing I didn't do is install a Windows 10 DVD drivers that came with the MoBo. To see if that was the issue. No. X99 MoBo P.S. On another computer on an HP all in one here APU video drivers stopped running and had to reinstall it to get it back up and running. I wondered why the back light would not go out.

How do I make Photos on my HP Laptop default?
I transferred my pics, docs, etc from my Macbook Pro to my HP wirelessly. When I try to save pics or select one for like laptopFacebook, it defaults to the "Pictures" file rather then the "Photos" file. How do I fix it so they all go the the Windows Photo file? Thank you in advance.
Newbie: Trying to develop a horse race simulator.
Hi. Richard Cronin here. DAV. I've done a bit of programming using darkBasic. Would like to try GameGurus. I will be using real-world parimutuel betting algorithms and a simulation of a random crowd. Multiple inputs about how the pool totals will be formed and several racing formats from 2 furlong turf sprints, to 3 mile derbies. All with hedges and water hazards for steeplechases, and a close check for any racehorse blocking or bumping into an opponent. This compleat with checks for faults and horses running in excess of 63 mph for more than two minutes and 50 seconds. A horse might just throw it's rider and collapse, or lope away from the pack and seek shelter. Also provides for post-race analysis and sentient stewards who can re-start the race if there is a grievous breach of racing protocols. It's attuned to D&D; so expect a Magic Missile attack by about the third race. Also, I've got "Tavern Games" simulators from Snooker and Darts to axe throwing and Kangaroo Boxing (20 ounce gloves) get heavy after four minutes of getting kicked every other 18 seconds of five, three-minute rounds. Need a lot of clever algorithms.
