StopCode error
My screen went blank (was blue) and went I finally got it back, I got a error message--memory management. And it said to contact windows.com/stopcode. Well they won't do anything unless you pay them. I have only had this computer for a couple of months. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions.
Microsoft You're Confusing me Again!
It's a well know fact that Microsoft has pulled way back from the consumer market to primarily focus on Enterprise. That's ok, for us consumers will benefit with this move, and already have with the change from Office 365 to Microsoft 365. What's got me confused now though is all of this talk about Microsoft wanting to first buy ByeDance's, Tik Tok venture into the U.S., and now there is talk that Microsoft is looking at buying the global works? Huh? My first question would be why. Given that Microsoft has no real track record in this type of media that I can discern it doesn't make any sense, at least not to me. Sure they (Microsoft) own Yammer and Linked In, but those are in a whole different league. Second reason it doesn't make sense, is that the recent realignment of Microsoft confirmed once again the direction they are continuing on even stronger in the enterprise arena. I see Microsoft doing this in part because they recognize the threat that Google is making with the Sheets, Docs and Slides, Chrome Book, etc. Those have come a long way over the years, and they (Google) are really trying to play catchup to Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services, Heck Microsoft is trying to catch up to Amazon as well.... Do you find yourself talking directly to your computer? 🤨
I have a tendency to talk to my computer. May sound a bit daft! 🤨 If I am under pressure for whatever reason, or I am searching for a reference and cannot find it, I talk AT my computer - most likely with exasperation that anything else; not that this helps me to find the resource any quicker though. If I have the radio on in the background and the news is being broadcasted, I most definitely voice my opinion on the subject matter to my computer (which thankfully remains silent - unless Narrator is switched on). 😲 Then that becomes a whole different ball game if I am working on a Word document. 🤣 Has being on lockdown changed your behaviour towards your computer? If we have a more extended lockdown and have to work from home for a prolonged period of time, will this influence/change our working behaviours? Your PoV please 😀 Keep well.
Am I the only person who uses One Drive to share files??????
I think that One Drive is fantastic for many reasons, one of which is the ability to share files with anyone just by sending them a link (email attachments are so last decade). But so often when I suggest this to a friend or colleague they look as me as though I have just landed from outer space! Yet everyone seems so familiar with Dropbox. Often when I suggest sending something via One Drive they say "just send it via Dropbox"! Why is this? For a Windows 10 user surely One Drive is so much easier. So, my conversation starter is: - "Am I the only person who likes to use One Drive for file sharing?
How to send Feedback hub issues properly about photo app
I'm wondering if feedback photos is sent either via text, or via diagnostics. For example, looking at the photo's app, there are four problems with it: 1: CPU usage is extreme, and caps out on startup, (Photos app, Runtime broker, State Repository (30%+CPU usage))and can reach around 40% usage. 2:Sometimes checkboxes appear, when scrolling down on photos. 3:When using the search bar, the first time all options show, album, tags, and etc. However, after searching and adding a photo to a album or whatnot, but after that is done, you have to restart the app, and then albums will reappear. 4:When selecting a file via a option shown it does not properly select the search properly. Aka (Searching for thisiscool.jpg searches as thisiscool jpg which results into nothing being found.) How in the world do I even send these privately, without revealing the photos, do I just send a text box message, and send diganostic logs? under which one pls. BTW 5th issue, can we please remove the unnecessary header acrylic(Transparent) under album view? Also, remove forced video editor integration, if I want it, I'll ask it for a render, if not, please don't make it use my CPU, apple doesn't do it(Force it), why do we have to do it? Acrylic(transparent) uses too much cpu and gpu on desktop window manager :(

Artificial Intelligence? Bring it on!
Some people I have spoken with are concerned about the rise and usage of 'artificial intelligence' in their daily lives. The thought of 'connectivity and integration' appears to be the nub of their concerns. I respect these views; however, my own view is very different. Artificial intelligence are algorithms that have intuitive code embedded in the source programs. Nothing really complicated in that. The more we inculcate AI in our computing devices, the more we can utilise 'machine power'. So here is my challenge to Microsoft - bring it on ladies and gentlemen, bring it on - let this community test the AI computing power and even suggest their own ideas on maximising AI on their devices. The recent new build of Windows 10 with the enhancements in assistive technologies are fantastic - it is possible to improve on this current offering. Just my #PoV. As a follow-on to my post, I understand that a vigorous antibiotic has been designed in the United States using AI - so cool 😎 The field and practice of medicine is probably one of the many fields that will benefit using AI. 😀
