Disappointed in Surface Laptop 3
Have a Surface Laptop 3 (1+ year old) which has the same problems especially Windows Edge browser frequently becoming dormant with a message " Edge is not responding". In addition system seems to degrade over time: sound, light takes longer to take effect, and MSN.com window gives me the same message and have to reboot to use. Can't really tell if it is Edge or the Computer. Called support multiple times. They run the fixit tool, reset the Windows Edge browser and I'm good for a while and the process begins again. I use to take it to the store but now that's gone. Support has gone from US to foreign country and frankly is getting less than satisfactory. I find this new support crew very unsure. They often have to check with someone else before they do anything. My impression is that Microsoft is degrading also, since the stores are gone. Hate to see that happening. Will not purchase a MS computer next time.

Being an I.D.10T
Well, I was being an I.D.10T the other day and created a problem that led me to create other problems, when I realized that this was really a case where Occam's Razor should apply. So after I realized that, and that the P.I.C.N.I.C., I took a break, cursed Microsoft and felt a whole lot better. Oh , Ok. the problem! I was trying to readjust my Microsoft Launcher for Android, when I noticed that things were not where they were supposed to be, and the setting were all out of whack. This was after an update. (Refer to the start of this article please) After a while I put on the Deep sea diving apparatus and dove in, only to find, that only did I have my original MS Launcher Beta, but now I also had the MS Launch Preview from the Store, and they were not playing like good neighbors should! All I could do at that point was to sit back, question how that could happen, shake my head, and call myself every stupid name I could think of, and yea, some of those would surely get me booted from this site! Lesson learned. Aren't I the one that tells everyone to read before installing, and follow closely? Yeppers, that would be your truly.... If we can't laugh at ourselves every once in a while, then what's the point.... Have a fun and safe day all. Remember read and follow the directions carefully before installing any software and or update! And now on to take my hypertension medication! - Go figure.....

Trying to find a suitable App for video editing
Hello, I am interested in creating film reviews to upload to youtube. I am considering using Adobe apps such as Adobe Premiere or Premiere Rush. However, I am advised to download from the Microsoft store only to ensure the smooth and efficient running of my PC. I can't seem to find apps there that would be as suitable or useful for my purposes. A Microsoft or Google Play version of the Adobe products does not seem to be available, but there are plenty of tutorials and courses for Adobe products. This seems strange. Wondering could anyone help me with this issue. Perhaps there is a suitable app on the Microsoft store I am unaware of. I want to upload film clips with recordings of my own voice reviewing the films.

A little circle under my cursor
Whenever I am writing in email, or other apps, I have a little circle under my cursor. I did not always have this and I am sure there is a setting someplace to eliminate it. I have the little circle right now.

Answer to my wi-fi dropout did not address the issue.
Got the following reply. Windows Community2 months ago 'Hello Tony - We are sorry to hear you are having issues with your Wi-Fi connection. Please see this article on how to troubleshoot your network: https://community.windows.com/en-us/stories/quick-ways-to-fix-common-wi-fi-connection-issues. Go you your manufacturer's support site and download the most current Wi-Fi driver or update it manually: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/update-drivers-in-windows-10-ec62f46c-ff14-c91d-eead-d7126dc1f7b6'. My issue is intermittent and the link does not address this. The wi-fi signal is normally strong and when I get a dropout Windows 10 points to router failure. When I check the router with another pc, at the same location as my laptop, the wi-fi is ok but my laptop is not. I have the latest wi-fi adapter drivers. I'm convinced that it's not the router but an intermiient error with laptop hardware or software. But which is it and how can I fix it.

How about creating audio instruction books/guidelines?
I am using the new build of Windows 10 with really good assistive technologies. I wonder whether it would be possible to provide audio instruction leaflets for those users who have visual impairments. The new Narrator is great; surely we can improve on this by offering an audio clip. Perhaps something to consider for future builds. Many thanks.

Texts
How can I read my texts from my phone on my PC? They are all synced

I can't scan to the computer from the printer
After scanning a lot recently with out any problem, now the message comes up -"the scanner is in use or unavailable ( E1460 - B 305". I have tried a few things without any success such as : uninstalling the scan software and then re install, checking the connections and switching everything off, unplugging the printer and then after a minute reconnect the printer and turn back on. The computer is an Acer desktop with Windows 10 and the printer in an Epson XP - 8500 (printer and scanner ). I am still able to print from computer files as normal. Any advise/ideas would be much appreciated. Pete V
