Windows 10 always secretly busy doing 'something else'..?
After every frequent, time-consuming and tedious W10 update, it can take up to a week for 'normal service' to be resumed. Any browser you care to use performs erratically and sluggishly; it, File Explorer and Windows in general frequently go faint and 'fail to respond'. WHY??? If it's any help, I'm a long-standing IT pro now working from home and using an HP ProOne 440 G4 all-in-1 workstation new last August - and supposedly specifically designed for Windows 10, God help us!
Feature update to Windows 10, version 20H2
I am trying to update but it continue to download & install, process of update never getting completed. Suggest what to do next?
Windows 10 - create a desktop icon? Help please ๐
When I used Windows 7 I could easily create an icon for my desktop. I do not seem to be able to do that now. Desktop icons are very helpful and speed up the connect process. My bot (computer) is an HP Combi and is currently operating in tablet mode. I have tried the process of using themes but was not successful. Any suggestions? Many thanks PS - I understand that Microsoft Edge doesn't allow desk-top shortcuts to be created. Have to revert several clicks to get to a website ๐ค
How was Your Experience Upgrading to Windows 10 Build 2004
Hi Everyone, More and more people are getting notification to upgrade to Windows 10 Build 2004. It is as easy as performing an update but since it is new build, it will take longer. I am wondering, how was your experience in case of upgraded to build 2004? Was it smooth upgrade? Everything was working after upgrade?

How would you rate Windows Community if it was an app?
How would you rate Windows Community on a scale from 1 (very low) to 10 (extreme)? My rating is 9/10; inappropriate content should be removed immediately by spam filters; and should have grammar and spell checkers, because then if a post is not grammatical, it can be identified as spam, what I mean are posts like: ggggg or: weugrrrrrrrrfbEUW And for good posts, if there is a word misspelled, then the grammar checker can identify it and therefore it wouldn't be spam.
Little oopsie with the Feature Update - Notifications?
In my previous version of Windows 10 I was able to tap on a notification (Windows Community) and the system would take me directly to the conversations panel. I seem to be unable to do this now. I have sent message to the Feedback Hub ๐. This part of the message is timed at 16:10 hours. Would you believe it ๐ - I have just checked with another notification and the tap on the panel now works ๐๐. Many thanks team Windows ๐
NO INTERNET CONNECTION, Windows 10 20H2 reports connected
Intermittently Windows 10 20H2 loses internet connection after the latest updates are fully installed. Browser reports not connected when Windows claims it has internet connection. The only fix is waiting 10 minutes for your network to reset with a hot reboot. Windows Maps (Redux) Thank You Microsoft and Tom Tom
For those of you that have been on here for a while you've seen my rants about Microsoft not updating Microsoft Maps, and when they teamed up with Tom Tom nothing seemed to change either. Well, I'm pleased to say that that has changed. I ran a store update this morning, and I noticed that there was an update for Windows Maps. Sure as you know what, there it was, the update to the South Mountain Freeway Extension was finally there. It's still sad though that Google maps showed it within a few days, yes, Days, of it opening, which was almost a year ago. Anyway Thank You Microsoft and Tom Tom for updating a severely out of date map.
