Can't Adjust Brightness - Windows 10, Intel Desktop
I'm using a Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2310M desktop computer with Windows 10 operating system and can't adjust my monitor brightness (I may have to start wearing sunglasses to use the setting its stuck on right now!). I've looked elsewhere for advice and the recommended course involves updating my computer's Display Adapters. I've tried that without success. My computer simply tells me I've already got the most up to date drivers installed (Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000). Any advice on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated. It seems so basic an issue, and yet I haven't been able to fix it and it's really affecting my use (or rather, lack of use) of the computer.

Windows Nov 2020 update is a complete fail.
I updated a few days ago and now my computer hardly works, it stays in 100% disk and update window will not come up, i wanted to delete this new update and i cant. Microsoft should be sued for selling a very unstable operating system and getting it right one month and then the next update takes you to the world of instabilities and windows looping endlessly. Microsoft has become the worst and windows 10 is a complete fail. Every year you keep updating and you keep making it worse.... Before this update it was doing ok stable. Now with this update i can hardly use my computer. I see a major law suit in the horizon. I think my next computer has to be a mac... I think it time to get away from PC and Microsoft. I am sure a lot of people are losing money because of all of Microsoft failed programming. It looks like you guys do not know what your doing any more..... Fire all of the programmers that worked on this update. YOU NO LONGER KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING..... We lose money, at the end you are going to lose it all...

Windows 10 PCs are familiar
Windows 10 PCs are easy to use. Customize your start menu, search for anything from the start menu, and multitask with ease.

Windows 10 always secretly busy doing 'something else'..?
After every frequent, time-consuming and tedious W10 update, it can take up to a week for 'normal service' to be resumed. Any browser you care to use performs erratically and sluggishly; it, File Explorer and Windows in general frequently go faint and 'fail to respond'. WHY??? If it's any help, I'm a long-standing IT pro now working from home and using an HP ProOne 440 G4 all-in-1 workstation new last August - and supposedly specifically designed for Windows 10, God help us!

windows Media Player problem
trying to burn a cd. I get a message that says I have to connect to burner and restart the player. I was under the impression that I could burn cd's when I purchased my PC. What do I need to do?

Windows 10 ISO downloads over torrents?
I'm setting up another machine, a laptop replacement for a relative. So I'm downloading Windows 10 for the Nth time now to reinstall Windows fresh from what it came with (keeping the key). Anyway, the current ISO size seems to be 4.9 GB, the connection to Microsoft's servers allow me to download at 60kB/s (well under what my internet connection can do, surely), and Microsoft WIndows' download page told me the link would be active for 24 hours. The expected time to finish the download at these rates is 24 hours, assuming nothing happens to this connection. Certainly this is causing me a strange bit anxiety xD Not to mention the annoyance of leaving a machine on just to complete a download. Now I'm not one to complain about the issues of download speeds, because I'm sure talking about hardware costs is annoying. But instead, I wonder why Microsoft Windows can't just distribute the ISO over torrenting? They attempted P2P sharing with Windows Update, why not the same with the ISOs? Less hassle for everyone. I'm really used to relegating ISO downloads to torrenting because I tend to run dual-boot with some sort of Linux distro on most of my own machines. Every distro I've used, I think, distributes its ISOs over torrents. I wonder if there's some strange reason why Windows can't do the same.

Where is windows Sound Manager App?
There was a time when we used to have access to Sound > Speaker Properties through a standalone application. Please bring that back!
