Yesterday after updating windows version to the latest version my lock screen slideshow just stopped working only shows my wallpaper "which i have set before i started using slideshow" in option pictures. I have already tried fix like changing the Advance settings, removing the folder and re-adding it again, uninstalling the updates and more but the lock screen slideshow still doesn't work. If someone knows how to fix this issue please tell me i use this feature to prevent burning on my display.
Pinning Websites
I'm sure some of you may have noticed, while others may have not, but you can no longer pin websites to the start screen, even by pinning it to your taskbar and dragging to your start screen, it can no longer be done. I've been aware of this, and have working around it, but after this last update....... ok, well we'll leave it at that... I was chatting with Microsoft Tech support this afternoon, and after I finally got them to try and pin a web site to their start screen, they admitted they couldn't do it either. Funny though they had a work around? So here's the work around, and it involve Google Chrome! Open the website you want to pin to your Windows 10 Start Screen in Google Chrome. Yea, you read that right! Once your website is open, click on the three dots located in the upper right hand corner. Scroll down until you sees More Tools. Hover over that and choose Create Shortcut... a pop up will appear where you name your shortcut, and here is where it gets important! You need to check the box that says Open as Window, then click create. Now go back to your start screen and under recently added apps you will see your recently added website. There is one last step. With it there you will not be able to move it around. So while it is in the Recently Added Apps right click and choose Pin to Start Menu. Voila! You're done, and your websites are now back on your start screen. Let's do hope that the boys and girls in Redmond fix this!
sagurazo virus how to uninstall
I picked up a virus it shows in control panel as SAantivirus but it pops ups as Sagurazo Protection and acts like it found a virus and wants me to click to get rid of it. I have not done that as I'm sure they want a lot of money to do that. I got it thinking I was downloading a Cribbage Card game my golf buddies and I could play on line while we can't play golf or be around each other. When I try to uninstall it thru the Control Panel programs it pops up and wants me to click on restart but I can tell I'm not in a Windows 10 window so have not done that.

Seniors and Comprehension of Tech and Mobile Devices
My close friends and family are over 60 and they all have a problem with change. If anything requires an update forget about it. Repeating myself has no effect. Many times over I refer them to manuals, guides and youtube videos. Every aspect of any gadget with a screen is just difficult. I need advice. Is wanting to know how to learn how things are done and make things i create work for me, that challenging to a senior? Clicking download eighteen times and still can not find it would make myself mad enough to learn how avoid such problems. How can they learn the absolute basics of everything? Formatting, hierarchy skills, terms, commands, actions and etc.? If they were a horse and i led this horse to water,,, Do i have to accept the fact of these issues or try harder like ,,,,what? My next attempt is this windows community program. I reviewed the videos and they cover a vast number of things. sometimes i wish there was a "show follow the numbers step by step" option.
Widows Update 2004 Problems 3 months OEM support+ no help
Problems with updating my Yoga C940-14IIL (Lenovo) from 1909 to 2004. Officially Lenovo premium support claims there should be no problems on there end for my device. Not driver related software etc. But i'm still stuck on the not device not ready screen. I Also tried to force the update like they instructed. Without being rude in my opinion there premium support is tier 1.5 at best. The conversation basically is them approving my suggestions or providing ridiculous extra information to them. Basically telling me which button i should click or explaining something in English i provided them by sending a screenshot etc. For example i ran the Intel driver support assistent and pointed out Intel has newer graphic wifi and Bluetooth drivers than the ones they provided. Asking if that might solve the issue but i pointed out Intel recommends OEM drivers not generic ones (It's in the screenshot). They replied its worth trying and that the lines i pointed out mean they are not officially tested. I'm thinking this is a bad joke or something i pointed it out and informed them and they reply with "might work and explain te words in a sentence i provided them" This is just one example out of dozens. Half of the suggestions or questions i made mentioned on the 2004 Official known issues/problems page (provided screenshots) they didn't understand i think. I attached the screenshot and even underlined the sentences i send them. Basically they told me to do the windows clean start or start over thing by holding a reset button (whatever it's called) . It's a brand new device with almost no software except for a single licensed office 2019 professional plus (not linked to a account) and mapped in my fairly complex new "secure"network and has things like SMB shares configured with my Linux and FreeBSD servers etc. It's also a wifi only device so it's on my IOT Vlan so it's a pain in the ... to setup again. Advice or answers would be appreciated before i do a clean install.
Cannot Completely Disable Password on Wakeup
I have tried every solution everywhere on the internet to make it so windows NEVER asks for my password, and although it is, in theory, NOT supposed to ask for my password anymore, ever, it still does in *one* circumstance. I have changed the settings so it is not to require a password after waking from sleep, and that works in every instance except for when the computer sleeps because I closed the laptop lid. If it goes to sleep just from sitting without being used for a while and I start it up again, it does not ask for a password, even if it’s been days or longer. But if I close the lid and then start it up again even just a moment later, it requires a password. I have stopped it from asking a password after starting from a shutdown or a restart, and I have turned it off after starting from sleep in all other cases, but for some reason, disabling password after wakeup does not work when sleep was because of closing the laptop lid. What am I doing wrong? I’ve tried all the different settings options I could find, then I googled and found another one or two, which fixed the last of my problems, except this one. I do not want to EVER have to enter a password. All I use my Windows laptop for is games that I can’t get on my Mac, because I hate windows, but there are some games I really like that require it. I grew up using Windows, so I’m very familiar with it, and I can generally fix anything with it that crops up without needing to go to anyone for help, but this is one thing I just can’t fix. On Mac, you only have to change one or two things to never have to enter a password again except for major updates or downloads, and all the settings are easy to find. On windows, I have had to change many more things, and I’ve really had to dig for the settings to change, and I am STILL having issues. Can someone PLEASE tell me what I’m missing?
Move external files to external drive
I am trying to move two files from internal C drive to external flash drive. When I try to move them one at a time I get a window that says file is too large for the external drive. The external has 152GB of free space. The files that I want to move are a little over 4GB each. I was able to move a few 2GB files without issue. Anyone have suggestions?
