Explaining Edge Dev as DWB
Windows 10's default web browser is Edge (Chromium), which in this discussion will be called Edge GA (General Accessibility). The Edge "Insider" Dev Channel can, also, be run side-by-side with GA. Dev is stable & updates wkly. It has Features & abilities and flags that make it VERY exciting & enticing to use. It even has the Widget. It can be used constantly, same as GA. So, if using Dev due to all it offers, instead of GA, Win10 lets one pick its Default Web Browser. Make it Edge Dev. > Settings > Apps > Default Apps, scroll down to Web Browser & set it to Edge Dev. You can grab Dev here https://www.microsoftedgeinsider.com/en-us/download I have Edge GA, Dev & Canary, but use Dev & use it as the DWB. Cheers, Drew
π, Lots of Views, Better... Lots of Voice
I spent 2+ days at MS Build , myself & others test Win10 Insider Builds, some mess with Edge Insider Channels, Dev Track just received a new Build, Windows just went to a new Version, Edge GA just went to a new Series. Let's hear voices, not just see Views. There's lots of new (or coming soon) Features & Functionality to discuss. Comments, questions, likes, dislikes, where is this, what does it do, what can it do, what can I do, how does this work, how do I get there, what are good habits. Converse, discover, learn, ASK, suggest. Where are resouces, what are some good tools, do I need any... the list goes on & on. Spur some thinking. Be curious. Some thing MUST be new, unfamiliar or maybe even as yet unknow (to you). Don't be shy or hesitate to be heard & "Connect with Us". What's something recent you think is particularly neat? Cheers, Drew

How do I fix "g-mail settings out of date
I keep getting the message that my e-mail settings are out of date. How do I fix this? Everything that I click on goes in circles and never fixes problems. Do you not want us to use g-mail. This is a pain in the neck that I can never fix. Any suggestions?

Lesson: Don't mess with your any of registry(regedit) values. Your new windows update might hard/long time to equalize/initialize the changes you have made.
Stop releasing updates that don't do anything meaningful.
No one cares about new personalization features or what colour theme you're using so stop releasing updates that have no purpose. Or at least stop making them "mandatory" or combining mandatory updates with them. If I cared about how my desktop looked, I'd buy a Mac. I own a PC because wasting system resources on cosmetic BS is stupid to me... looks like I may not be using the right operating system even still. I need the security updates for your swiss cheese operating system but I don't want to have to sit and stare at a swirling circle icon while my computer picks which colour to theme my PC to today. Talk about being out of touch with your client base.

I would like to remove someone from the sign on page. How do I go about doing that?

A few days ago I changed my MSA profile picture. It is updating in Sttable Edge but not the Dev version. Why?
