It is a an awesome experience being connected to our regular and infrequent contributors on this platform, I really enjoy 'reading' the postings 😊🙏 and the responses from the Moderator who follows up on our postings. I have complete trust and faith in the MS and Windows Teams and their work- they are rate very highly on my scale - way, way ahead of any other organisation. I really do mean way ahead 😊. I can say this at any time, to anyone for any reason my message remains the same. I hope the teams thrive on our challenges/ideas/suggestions. I know for myself, I thrive on being able to challenge them (in a collegiate and courteous manner). Being part of this platform is a valuable life experience. 🤩💜 Many thanks All for reading this posting - keep well 😊 FAO: Moderator, please socialise with your colleagues - many thanks #GoTeamMicrosoft - simply the best

Windows media player deletes files
Hello Team, I have updated my machine into W10 20H2 with all the updates. I have few issues with WMP. 1. WMP adds any physical drives into it's sync list but in the included media folder list these physical drives are not listed. It has only the default user's media folder entry. The problem is, I can't exclude my other drives as it automatically scans them and added to the library. 2. When I tried to delete the library, it started deleting the physical files even though this option was disabled in the menu. I lost some important files and I have no backup either. 3. This behavior was not there in 1909, as it simply flushes the library without destroying physical files. 4. I have uninstalled WMP due to this dangerous yet strange behavior and the removel process too did not remove the WMP files from the app Directory of which I had to remove them manually. No clue of what has happened but appreciate if someone can explain this. WMP resetting did not work either. There's no option within the player to reset to defaults. Thank you in advance. CA

Can I remove Windows 10 UWP apps PowerShell? Wouldn't this be a violation of the license agreement?
HMD and VR for Windows Mixed Reality
For those of you who have been pondering WMR or for those of you who have WMR... What would you like to see Microsoft doing in this area? I think they lack the catalog of High Quality Games which I don't think will change much since people at Steam, Oculus and VIVE are making programs to allow WMR HMD's (Head Mounted Display) to operate there programs. I personally wouldn't mind seeing some windows only games and XBOX connectivity. How awesome would that be?? It would not kill PS4's VR but with the arcitecture in the XBOX I think it would hurt there monopoly on the market. Tell me or them (Microsoft) what you would like to see.

Can signing in Windows device w/Outlook be a problem 🤣🤦♀
I just had to rest my device yesterday, because there is a file popping up all over the place and my device started running so bad that I almost wasn't able to reset Windows. I think I know what the file is, but I don't think my device does. Or it might and I might be completely wrong. I think there are 2 different scenarios that are going on, which I think are causing many different problems. First, I had to reset my device about 6 months ago. When I signed back in, I didn't use the gmail account that I first used to set up the device and it was setup as the administrator account, instead I use my Outlook acct. making it the admin, well my gmail is ported into my Outlook. I read online once you make an admin account that the device never forgets it, I don't know if that is true. The reason I'm saying this, is because I think my device might be recognizing that my gmail account used to be the admin on my device, because that little user icon file is showing up in my file explorer with the gmail's username by it, its never even done that with my outlook account. On the other my hand, I have what's going on with that file that's popping up everywhere, which is using up so much of my memory that I received a code on my Windows Report saying I have a memory link. Second, if I make a Microsoft account with an Outlook email, then sign into a Windows 10 device, will the Windows 10 device see or recognize the email addresses that is ported into my Outlook account? If so, can that cause any problems with the Windows 10 Device? Because of that user file, it seems like my device has recognized my gmail account as being an admin acct. on there before, but on the other hand it seems like it doesn't recognize it being ported into my Outlook acct. because I have all those user files EVERYWHERE. Any help will greatly be appreciated. So, is any of this possible or I'm a way off ? Do I just have a virus? 🤣😜🤷♀️🤦♀️🤣😜
Broken horizontal lines when booting from Windows 10 USB
Broken horizontal lines when booting from Windows 10 USB boot media Hi There are broken horizontal lines when booting from Windows 10 USB boot media. I'm assuming this is an anomaly. Will this weirdness effect the installation on Windows? If so, what should I do about it? I already tried recreating the USB installation media and the same thing occurred.
