Cortana isn't working correctly.
introduction, a few tech queries even took to Comp. GEEKS.
Good evening...my name is Juleigh..I've had enough trying to simply get my headphones to WORK with my Laptop - an HP Pavillion Gaming. I DO NOT GAME. I bought this as a great discount through my company, so that I could have something decent yet not $1K to start out. My ONLY complaint is I am having a single challenge with my JLAB Headphones, the sound coming into my headphones and not from the computer. I had this at Geeksquad three weeks ago because I tripped over the cord, totally annihilated the hard drive. They put in a Solid State Hard Drive, they swore best one they had. SO, since then, my headers do not work. The screen says my phones re not plugged in. I had NEVER had to have them "plugged in" before..and then the phones are synced with my Cell as well. I've invested now, $850 into this. I'm googling my face off trying to explain this ..what I would deem simple, alas - nobody finds the solution easy, but then, nobody has an answer. I get the same stupid, woman in suit, (we'll give her a good reason to buy here..)..kind of thing..tired of it AND with this Corona issue going on, I'm about to jap slap these pseudo computer techies. Does ANYONE have ANY advice for me? I'm just not quite in the financial position to purchase another computer just yet, so I truly need this baby. Heck, it's just a year old, we bought the extra warranty! Forgive me for spewing out my mood..I'm now behind in my goals for the week..my clients need me and I need them...So, my new fellow Microsoft Community Members, ANYONE have any suggest. So, Community, any help, any thoughts? Any guidance that anyone is willing to take a bit of time to step in? Truly, I am a grateful, blessed gurl...many thanks, Juleigh Anne
How can MS Surface Duo help a person with Adult ADHD?
Accessibility & Benefit; Surface Duo for Adult ADHD person: .. ADHD is a personal difference and disability recognized by the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act). ADHD from childhood often carries into adulthood, with various potential symptom changes for each person as they age. As an example, the Hyperactivity component of ADHD may decrease somewhat while Attention Deficit remains a continual serious problem. In such as case, the adult medical diagnosis may evolve to ADHD - Inattentive Type. The "Inattentive Type" designation highlights the primacy of the "Attention Deficit" issues over Hyperactivity. .. Many advertisements and future projections show ever ubiquitous technology helping people be organized, remember everything, meet deadlines, having information at the fingertip and generally be a superstar at work and home (some exaggeration maybe, but not much). The person with ADHD would settle for some of this today. A roadblock lies in the circle of new technology assessment, purchase, learning, making application and actual realization of the benefit. Obviously requiring attention to reach implementation and true benefit, the ADHD person can experience frustration before any realization benefit; or before purchase for that matter. .. Surface Duo could be ever ubiquitous, carried constantly like any phone. It could provide more screen space for use and clarity. With earbuds it could provide private audio queues and information. But the real problem Did Not Change. What helps the roadblock of knowing it will not be a waste of money? What provides the realization of actual benefit, beyond just making a phone call, snapping a pic, and searching the web (we can do that with a much cheaper phone). .. ADHD related issues are also exacerbated with age, amplifying the challenges and putting realization of benefit that much further out of reach. If the Surface Due is a benefit, show people how, precisely with detail; otherwise it is only another expensive phone.

Blue/Green Screens 🤔 Part Two
Is there any way, I can apply a sound to a blue/green screen to alert me that of the situation. This would be so helpful to the visually impaired person. I have applied sound when I receive a notification - that is very useful. But I think error screens such blue/green warrants something special - like a sound of crashing musical symbols 🔊 🔔. Something that would immediately grab my attention. On December 28 2019, I experienced a serious interruption of my computer system when Windows was downloading an update. My computer ceased to work and I was unaware of the problem. Being unable to see the screen I inadvertently clicked on an error message which necessitated my having to contact Microsoft that day. I was so fortunate that the engineer on the other end of my link was helpful and very sensitive to my situation. 😊 I ask fellow contributors to take my posting as a serious request for help. The green screen oopsie the other day, heightened my concern. Many thanks and keep well.
