Is there any news re conexant sound issues with 2004 update yet? I.m concerned I won't be able to update my laptop to the latest versions. Many thanks

WIN10 UPDATE DOES NOT UPDATE
Have UNSUCCESSFULLY tried the update [some work, this one does not] for the past 6 months or longer. I even tried to let it "spin" for 2 days but it never comes out of the loop. I force shut down and then go through another forced shut down upon which the screen says its undoing the update and putting things back the way they were. this has happened about 10 times over the past year. HELP
Bluetooth discoverable
I have a BOSE NC 700 headphone, with Bluetooth. It used to work well with WIN 10. Not sure what happened after several WIN updates. Now the the headset Bluetooth pairs but when I click to Connect, it gives a msg that it is not "discoverable". I have tried so many options, per many suggestions, including "remove" and re-pair again. Turn off Bluetooth then turn on. Tried uninstalling Bluetooth, restart then try again and again same msg. Uninstall and reinstall Bluetooth Enumerator, same results. Remove/uninstall Bluetooth Device, restart the PC, again tried to reconnect, same msg that my headset is Not discoverable. I and at a loss!!!! I have tried numerous ways to make the BOSE headset discoverable, still same issue that it is NOT discoverable. The strange thing is that the same BOSE Headset pairs and connects to my iPhone XR, my iPad Pro, my Mini Apple and my other iPad, but NOT with this WIN 10. So I assume the issue is NOT with the Headset, but rather with my WIN 10. Can someone help? Keeping in mind that I have tried all the options listed above. Need help! Appreciate any help, guidance or suggestions.
No sound through headphones :(
Hiya, something doesn't work on my laptop. When I connect headphones via jack - sounds goes through laptop speaker - not through headphones. I have tried a few different types. No result :(Thanks I have restarted laptop. All drivers are up to date. Any ideas how I can fix this?
Won't update
A couple weeks ago my laptop stopped downloading/installing most Microsoft updates. And when I looked at update history everything before 29 April 2021 was gone. I have updates successfully installed under "Quality Updates, KB5003169 ( 5/11/2021) and KB4023057 (04/29/2021), and under "Other Updates" is KB8090830 (5/11/2021). Other updates are listed as Failed to Install. When I pull up the Windows Update page there is an alert saying "Your device is missing important security and quality fixes" and will not update/download anything. I don't know if any of this info helps you. Please be kind, I'm an old lady on social security. LOL. Black screen loading 2 short beeps
Hi, i restarted my pc and it said that there is a program running, do you want to end it, i didn't look just click yes. It took a lot for the pc to shut down but before it showed me some kind of interrupt i think. Then the pc started to run but it stuck in a black screen loading and i can only see the loading icon and my mouse, when i click the mouse it makes 2 short beeps. Can anyone help me?
