Shoutout for Microsoft Teams đ€©
We are more than aware of the ongoing situations with CoVid19. âč Many people have been confined to their homes or, self isolating for their health protection. For those people who are confined (like a contributor to this platform) as an example, they are able to carry out their job responsibilities from home because many of us live in a connected world. This could not have been possible without the advancement of computer technologies to the level as they are today. Just imagine this kind of situation 20 years ago?! Having just been contacted by an individual who is working under these conditions, they expressed the opinion and I quote 'thank goodness I am able to do this'. My colleague is using Windows 10. So Microsoft please accept this person's thanks. Guys you are cosmic đ and so are the people using this platform, offering their help and advice to other contributors - co cool .

Let's hear it for all the health professionals đ„°
Whilst many of us are having to work at home during this CoVid19 crisis, so many health and scientific professionals are not. Instead they are on the front-line caring for patients who are ill. They all deserve our collective applause. đ€©

Anyone else miss the old windows phones produced by Nokia?
Okay no disrespect is meant towards Microsoft in anyway or form what so ever. Okay now with this statement out of the way, lets move on towards the main focus as this conversation's title states. So anyway yeah I was wondering if anyone else out there was lucky enough to own, or even use any of the original Window Phones, that were created and produced by Nokia? Don't get me wrong, for what few phones I have tried and even seen sold by Microsoft, we still very nice, fun, and well made, however I feel like they took over the phone market a little to soon. In my opinion they should have either waited a few more years, or at the very least came to some sort of agreement that allowed Nokia to continue building phones. The reason I say this, is because of two reasons. The first of if when Nokia was creating the phones, the were offering way better phone specs, features, and sizes on the market with use with prepaid services than Android and Apple, (And to think Apple still hasn't even bothered creating a cheap affordable device for low to mid low income individuals... talk about being all loyal to their Boujee class of peoples. LOL) And the other reason being, that their top of the line model phones, where created with amazing and not to mention most incredible cameras to still ever be found on a cell phone. For examples of what I am talking about, look at both the AT&T Windows Nokia 1020, (the phone had decent memory, was shaped like a small digital camera, and had a back facing camera that took 41megapixal photos), and the AT&T Windows Nokia 1520, (A pretty well design and durable phone that was bigger than the Note 3 and Note 4 which were the best Android Phones at the time. It had a back facing camera with 20 megapixels). *A Little Fun Fact: It is mainly all thanks to Nokia with their creation of Window Phones, that we have the decent size and as good as quality cheap android phones on the market as we do today. So anyway, does anyone else miss them?

Optical Drives
When the creators update for came out and installed for win 10 my optical drives stopped working and will not read media (any kind). I have been using a usb media drive to get buy. Both drives are recognized by Windows. I have tried all suggestions in the forums except making changes to the registry. This is the only place that is causing the problem since everything related to Windows operations goes through it. Any suggestions?

Windows Defender anti-virus
Hi all - 1st time posting, I think. On my new HP computer - Windows 10 - I confirmed that Windows Defender anti-virus is turned on, and uninstalled McAfee trial that came with the computer, as I've read was advised to prevent a Trojan virus sneaking inbetween the 2 protections. TWO QUESTIONS: (1) Is Windows Defender all that should be required, for a casual-use, at-home pc, or do users get a second anti-virus program to back it up? and (2) My (paid) McAfee subscription ran out on my OLD (now only occasionally used) Windows 10 PC. Is there anyway a virus could get into that computer, and transfer over to my NEW pc, since the devises are apparently synced? TIA!
