zybraxis Hi, I have a on going, project and on 4-22-20, I hope to have the final components to my endeavor of constructing my new desktop computer. I have resisted the urge to start the assembly, since I have already acquiring most of the parts. I am astounded at the possibilities, given what potential the items I have amassed, when assembled, entail. I would appreciate, any input as to something pertinent, to the pre-assembly. Materials: 1 - i9-9900K processor - Thermal Paste 1- ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E Gaming mobo SATA 6Gb/s 4 - G.SKILL ( Ripjaws V ) DDR4-3600 16GB 1.5v Intel XMP 2.0 Ready 1 - CPU >Cooler Master HYPER 212 Black Edition 4 pipe. ~ Better to return the air cooled and go with the water cooled? 2 - EVGA - Nvidia GEFORCE GTX 1070 Ti 8GB GDDR6 - RTX Enabled - DirectX 12 They come with jumpers, but are they the right SLi coupler for linking the GPU's? 2 - Samsung V-NAND SSD 860 Evo 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 1- WD HDD 1TB w/SATA 64MB Cache 1- WD HDD 250 GB 1- Seagate HDD 500 GB 1- Seagate HDD 320 GB I have several config. for setting up vhd Raid etc... but any preferences vs Cloud DB I am tempted to obtain 1- EXPRESS M.2 PCI, Should it be a 3D-NAND? It is easy to cut, copy, delete, move, or paste files/folders from one folder to another but shown below are quicker ways to perform file operations: Pressing CTRL+C copies the file. Pressing CTRL+V pastes the file. Pressing CTRL+X cuts the file and makes it ready to be pasted elsewhere. Pressing SHIFT+DELETE permanently deletes a file without sending it to the Recycle Bin. Pressing CTRL+Z performs an undo operation on a file or folder. Pressing CTRL+Y performs a redo operation on a file or folder. Pressing CTRL+SHIFT+N creates a new folder. There are some more tips and tricks on file and folder operations shown below: If you drag a file or folder to another folder in the same drive, it is moved. Holding down CTRL performs a copy. If you drag a file or folder to another folder in another drive, it is coped. Holding down SHIFT moves it out of the primary drive. If you drag a file or folder to another folder in the same or another drive while holding down ALT, it is copied as a shortcut. A shortcut to a file or folder can then be placed on the desktop for easy access. Right-click on a file or folder, and then click Delete while holding down SHIFT to permanently delete it. If you drag a file or folder to another folder in the same or another drive while holding down your right mouse button, the following options appear: Copy Here, Move Here, and Create Shortcut(s) Here. Moving a file or folder to the Recycle Bin while holding down SHIFT permanently deletes it. If you use a folder frequently for working with files, you can pin it to Quick Access. Just right-click the folder in File Explorer, and then click Pin to Quick Access. Or drag it to Quick Access, which pins it there. Right-clicking a program's icon pinned to the taskbar shows you recent files like documents, websites, folders, and so on. If you frequently work on a file, right-click a program's icon pinned to the taskbar and click the pin icon.

Hi, I am a Microsoft person when it comes to computer. This is my fourth personal computer in my life time. I used windows in all of the computer. My question is why does the computer goes slow over the time, even though I have enough RAM space and memory?

Do you leave your computer on overnight?
Hello One of my colleagues mentioned to me that she leaves her desktop computer on throughout the night. I realise that after 30 minutes or so (or whatever time you choose) the device goes to 'sleep'. I have never left my computer on all night - probably a habit of mine. So, I am left wondering whether contributors do leave their devices switched on throughout the night? 🤔. Views anyone?

after update my computer whipped clean
After I installed an window's update all my pictures etc was whipped clean. It said welcome to windows like I had just started and every time I restart my computer it does it again. Can anyone help me figure out what to do?
