Is there a way to wait to install an update
I have tried to turn off windows updates but even when I go in and disable them, they still manage to turn themselves off. I only find out when I got to turn off my laptop and my options are update and restart or update and shut down. I like to be there when it's updating and sometimes I want to go to bed. So what are my options ....I have to sit there and wait for it to update. Why can't they give me an option to ignore update for now and shut down normally. I feel like I have no control over my computer updating. On my apple devices it tells me when there is an update available and I can decide when it's a good time for me to update. Is there some way around this? I'm in the market for a new laptop and I am seriously wondering if I really want to get another windows laptop because of the lack of control over the updates.

virus found in USB drive
I like to know why is it when I plug in my USB drive, I get a message like a virus is found (autorun.exe). What can be done to prevent it from happening? According to Windows Defender, it states threat detected. Worm:Win32/Orb!arts. Any ideas on what to do now?

Windows Photos blocking images after edit
Usually when downloading files from tze internet, Windows 10 will block them. This can be prevented if one would disable security by turning the Windows Defender completely off, which you do not want to do. It's all nice and fun until you move files from other devices to your PC, which i did from my phone via WiFi. Surprisingly no picture was blocked....until i used Photos app to edit a picture, after which i clicked on 'save copy'. Needless to mention, the most useful function in editing pictures is the 'clarity' , this does some amazing things with a picture. But now, after saving a copy i wanted to compare the original vs the new one, and so i opened the original picture and used mouse wheel to go to the next picture, and the new picture got skipped. I immediately checked the properties, bcoz windows apps may not open files if those are blocked. I am now wondering, how come the app designed to replace Photo Viewer, changes the files so that they are being recognized as a threat? Why did windows block a file changed by a windows app????? đ Of course the blocked picture opens, but then i can not toggle between pictures. Does someone care to try it out? *Edit* Blocked pictures may not be used for lock screen but can be used as a wallpaper.

However, incorrectly using Registry Editor can cause serious, system-wide problems that include hard disk corruption, general instability, or being unable to use your computer. It may be necessary for you to reinstall your operating system to correct the problems. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the use of Registry Editor can be solved. Also, Microsoft does not support changes made to the registry. Use this tool at your own risk. Backing up and restoring your registry can be done by: - Exporting to the registry file for backup - Importing to Registry Editor for restoration - Creating a restore point for backup / using System Restore for restoration - Creating a system image for backup / using System Image for restoration To back up / restore your registry: 1. Press WINDOWS LOGO + R, type "regedit" and press ENTER. 2. Do the following: - If you want to back up one of the registry keys, navigate to any, click Export on the File menu, type the name, and then press ENTER. - To restore the registry, click Import on the File menu, find the file that ends with .REG, and then double-click it. PROFESSIONAL TIPS: Instead of importing to or exporting from Registry Editor, it's strongly recommended to either create a restore point or create a system image.
