black screen
recently I downloaded some upgrades, and soon after my laptop went into a BIOS update. Since then I have had no access whatsoever to my laptop. I plug it in, turn it on, get the manufacturers logo and then nothing. Total black screen. I have followed all the advise on the support pages but still have no access. It seems as if there is no contingency for someone not being able to even sign-in to their laptop. Have had to resort to using another laptop but seems as if all my data, obviously unsaved, has gone to the great 'black screen heaven' in the sky. Rather than resorting to using a hammer, can anybody furnish me with some meaningful advice?
Bluetooth discoverable
I have a BOSE NC 700 headphone, with Bluetooth. It used to work well with WIN 10. Not sure what happened after several WIN updates. Now the the headset Bluetooth pairs but when I click to Connect, it gives a msg that it is not "discoverable". I have tried so many options, per many suggestions, including "remove" and re-pair again. Turn off Bluetooth then turn on. Tried uninstalling Bluetooth, restart then try again and again same msg. Uninstall and reinstall Bluetooth Enumerator, same results. Remove/uninstall Bluetooth Device, restart the PC, again tried to reconnect, same msg that my headset is Not discoverable. I and at a loss!!!! I have tried numerous ways to make the BOSE headset discoverable, still same issue that it is NOT discoverable. The strange thing is that the same BOSE Headset pairs and connects to my iPhone XR, my iPad Pro, my Mini Apple and my other iPad, but NOT with this WIN 10. So I assume the issue is NOT with the Headset, but rather with my WIN 10. Can someone help? Keeping in mind that I have tried all the options listed above. Need help! Appreciate any help, guidance or suggestions.

Hi Everyone! Need bit help. Can anyone solve my issue of pup.optional.mindspark virus? I want to remove it completely. There is no option to uninstall in control panel. Let say you are facing a technical problem in Windows and you have the following options: 1) You could just format and reinstall Windows (e.g. using reset or refresh) and reinstall and recover everything and go back to world. 2) You will work on find and fix the problem and solve it without formatting your Windows. The first one might be easy but you will need to reinstall everything and second one might be time consuming but you won't go for reinstall and recovery process.

PC Won't Recognize External Drive
I have an HP desktop PC running Windows 10. I have a Western Digital My Passport external drive for running backups. I am using EaseUS Todo backup software. The last time I initiated a backup the PC did not recognize the drive. I changed cables and moved the drive around on different USB 3.0 connections, but could not get the PC to recognize the drive. The drive does light up so the connection is live. Why does the PC not recognize the external drive, and what can I do to fix that?
