parameter problem
i cant access my harddrive it says that 'the parameter is incorrect' firstly it happened awith the one drive now it shows my both main drives what can i do to correct it

I have been trying to update Windows 10 to the Version 2004. I have tried every solution I could find on the web, including attempting the upgrade from a USB thumb drive. I get different errors-- this is the most recent one. we couldn't install this update but you can try again (0xc1420121) All drivers are current Date and time is correct I stopped BitDefender permanently and did a reboot I already did the following: Windows Update Troubleshooter Stopped Windows update service and cleared Previous Windows update cache Deleted all files in: C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download Ran the SFC utility Tried the Upgrade Assistant and made the USB media. Nothing worked. Any ideas?

Bottom line cut off and white flickering line at top
This just recently started. Anybody know if it is related to an update. If my task bar is at the bottom, I can only see the top of the icons. There is a pulsing white line across the very top of the display screen. Got any ideas?
Installing Windows updates
When installing Windows updates available on my new computer (Windows 10/HP laptop), I get an error message: "Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later". Error codes that accompany this message are 0x8007003, KB890830 and KB4561600. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm in the process now of going back in to see if Windows went ahead and re-tried to install the updates. TIA!
Latest update "broke" my Surface Pro 3
After installing the latest update my Surface Pro 3 went haywire. Windows for any/all apps were resizing and or closing themselves spontaneously. The caret/cursor was flying all over the place. Apps that had settings e.g. a metronome app, would reset all on its own. Thankfully, I was able to revert back to the previous build. So, WTF?
I keep getting a pop up "load Windows 10 Repair Tool".
Is that from Microsoft?
why is windows stalling or not responding ?

Complete Black Screen Everywhere. Even In Safe Mode.
Hello, please help me! I just downloaded a theme from devianart, installed it, then when I clicked on it through windows settings, it said "Please Wait" for a second (default screen when themes are changing) and then just made all my active windows black. Explorer, chrome & Windows Settings was black & suddenly, screen completely turned black with just mouse pointer showing up. Can't use Start, Run or Ctrl+Alt+Del. Couldn't do ANYTHING accept holding the power button for 10 seconds and pressing shift to enter recovery menu (the one with a blue screen and 6 options like troubleshoot, continue and reset) there i ran cmd and tried to uninstall my current theme, but it just showed 3 themes - . , .. and aero. i couldn't find the custom theme name, not a single! (i had multiple downloaded but never applied) I tried system restore point, that failed (i made one before installing the theme) I also tried startup repair, didn't work. FINALLY I tried safe mode, but IT DIDN'T WORK TOO! Just my mouse cursor size increased and black screen was still there, nothing working at all (same as in normal mode). Please help me! Zugang Telefon-Nummer zu meinem Konto ändern nicht möglich! Mit der Bitte um Hilfe! Hallo Microsoft Comuinity, wer weiß was? Vor 4 Wochen bin ich nach 10 Jahren zurück von Thailand nach Deutschland. Mein Microsoft-Konto war mit der Thai-Handy-Nummer registriert. Nun habe ich in Deutschland natürliche eine deutsche Nummer. Die Thai-Nr. geltet hierzu nicht mehr. Das Ändern in Microsoft ist unmöglich, da Microsoft einen Code an diese Thai-Nr. senden möchte - letzte 4 Ziffern. Dieser Code kann ja nicht mehr ankommen. Fehler von mir aus Unwissenheit: Habe eine Wiederherstellung beantragt, die 4 WOCHEN dauern soll, bis Microsoft reagiert. Da ich mich nicht anmelden kann - bzw. Tel.-Nr. ändern, laufen einige Programme nicht, insbesondere Excel, das ich dringend brauche. Microsoft habe ich angefragt über diese automatische Abfrage. Eine Mail-Adresse gebt es nicht. Die mir zugesandten Infos und Links funktionieren nicht. Code senden auf die alte Thai-Nummer ist nicht mehr möglich. Meine neue, deutsche Handy-Nummer ist eingetragen, wird von Microsoft jedoch nicht angenommen oder erkannt. Microsoft ist zum Verzweifeln. suche seit Tagen eine Lösung - ohne Erfolg! Kann jemand helfen? Wäre ganz wundervoll und ich sehr dankbar, Es eilt sehr und ist wichtig herzlichst Brigitte
