Simplify your email with the Windows Mail app
Ready to stop signing in to multiple ad-cluttered websites to get your email? Here's how to get started with Mail, a Windows 10 app that combines access to all of your emails, folders and calendars into one convenient and simple app.

Cleaner, faster, safer – Keeping potentially unwanted apps at bay
Potentially unwanted applications (PUA) are a category of software that can cause your device to run slowly, display unexpected ads, or at worst, install other software which may be more harmful or annoying. In the Windows 10 May 2020 update, Potentially Unwanted App blocking is available to everyone running Windows 10!

Default Web Browser
Again, this is about being able to set the Default Web Browser (DWB) in the OS & the fact that it is mandatory that it be Edge (GA). Point is - I have been using Edge Dev as DWB. And, even though Edge (GA) updated recently, I continue with Dev as DWB. Edge is now 90, BUT there are, still, things in Dev, which BTW is 91, that are, STILL, not in GA. So, even if & when GA updates, one can, STILL, set Dev (or even Canary) as DWB. One is free to set whichever they want as DWB. Canary one can poke at any time for a bit, BUT Dev makes more sense as DWB because things change wkly instead of daily, so it's easier to become & stay 'comfy' with Dev. The rational to having what you prefer to use set as DWB, is likely obvious & intuitive to everyone. Cheers, Drew

Use the updated App & browser control settings in the Windows 10 May 2020 Update to configure your Windows Defender SmartScreen. is it necessary to use Outlook as the default email client?
I keep getting the following "error message" after startup of my Windows 10 desktop system: "Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Outlook and set it as the default mail client." I have 2 email accounts that work just fine without Outlook being installed. Why do I need to install Outlook?

change text colors of desktop apps shortcut, folders, icons
Wouldn't it be nice if users can change text colors of desktop apps, folders, icons~like the recycle bin, my PC, etc. to be able to match the background image? I would like to use a photo and set it as the background image but the text colors of desktop apps, folders, icons, etc. are not clear. I mean like if I have a white background color, then I will not be able to see text of the desktop apps shortcuts, folders, icons, etc., since they are white by default.
