I know about surface 2 but does the newer surface does any better than the older version?

MS Edge is not reacting
The last days, when I'm in a program, it blocks always, and I get the message 'MS Edge is not reacting. Then I click on 'close'where it's said, we'll transfer the info to Microsoft. But with what purpose ,because I get no reaction of Microsoft at all. This all came up after their last update.
How old is too old?
I am a substitute teacher who is preparing for the new school year. Because of the COVID -19 virus, a good number of the classes I will work with will be virtual, using assorted teleconferencing programs. I currently have a 6 year old Acer Aspire E11 laptop. Question for the community, how old does a computer have to be to be too old to use for more current applications like teleconferencing, etc.? Are there clear symptoms that my computer is too old for productive use, aside from being a little slow at startup? I Look forward to the responses. Thanks.
Macbook, Windows, linux or Chromebook which is better?
I think its windows, what about you?
What is Windows10X?
What exactly is Windows10X? Is it for PCs? Is it Windows 10's next update? I saw the leaked build video, and the animations and centred-task bar look so cool. If this isn't the next update of Windows 10, Then what is it? Is it a lighter version of Windows 10? If it is, hope y'all add the animations and quick access bar to the future updates of Windows. Thanks.
Looking for a AMD Ryzen Based Laptop with Windows 10 Pro
I have been using my ThinkPad T450 with i5 since 2013 and it has aged quite well. It still functions fine with RAM upgrade and HDD swapped with SSD. But, I think I need more powerful laptop now. I researched about laptops last weekend and I found that many people think that AMD machine is better than Intel based ones right now because its more efficient bla bla. I have a tower pc at home with AMD CPU inside it and have never faced a problem with it. I mostly use it to play Xbox Game Pass titles. It performs quite well with it. With all that being said, I am leaning more towards an AMD based laptop right now. Don't want to spend more than $1000 for it. Windows 10 Pro is must for me. I have looked at some of the the new ThinkPad models mentioned by this site - https://laptopunderbudget.com/best-amd-ryzen-laptops/ Since, I already own a T line ThinkPad I think the experience with T15 would be more similar than E15. I really don't know how they are different though. Not sold for ThinkPads completely, would love to explore other brands. Thanks.
Windows Security>Reputation based protection settings
I am unable to access the settings for 'reputation based protection'. This setting is managed by your administrator, is the only constant reminder that pops up whenever I click to check those settings. Earlier, I had even posted this problem in the community, but to no avail. Windows Security>App & Browser Control>Reputation based Protection Settings

In the search box on the taskbar, type Windows Security, and then select it from the results. Select Device performance & health to view the Health report. Note: If your device is part of an organization, your administrator may not have granted you permission to view Device performance & health.
This can help improve PC performance if you reduce the number of files that are synced to your PC. To see which version of Windows 10 your device is currently running, select the Start button, then select Settings > System >About. Open About settings. For more info on OneDrive Files On-Demand, see Learn about OneDrive Files On-Demand.
The Device performance & health section contains information about hardware, devices, and drivers related to the machine. IT administrators and IT pros should reference the appropriate documentation library for the issues they are seeing, such as the configure the Load and unload device drivers security policy setting and how to deploy drivers ...
I did some cursory poking around, and it turns out that every time this happens, Windows Security is doing a Device Performance & Health Scan. ( Not a threat or security scan; the Device Performance and Health tab only is updated, the Last Scan date and time.) When the "longer" variety occurs, it's running non-stop back-to-back Health Scans.
Device performance & health Status unknown I have the computer connected with Microsoft account. But my PC fails to report Device performance & health, despite the fact that Windows Defender reports everything in green when checked locally.
