Anyone not using Windows Defender?
I've been using Windows Defender as my primary antivirus for quite a while now since it's built in and free, but I know there's a ton of other options out there. For those folks that aren't using defender as their antivirus, is there any reason? I feel like I've got all my bases covered, but I just don't know. -nik SVA @ MS store

Update failures for Window 10
Hi everyone Is anyone experiencing updates failures for 'cumulative updates for Windows 10 version 2004 for x64-based systems #KB4550936. This has failed four times or perhaps even five times. I have gone through the usual routes of trying troubleshooter - unsuccessful. When I have clicked on the support thread, I am taken to a landing page which indicates 'sorry page not found'. I have to think that this will be fixed. I would just like to understand what has failed and why. I am a curious person. Views anyone?

Microsoft versus Chrome
I came across this analysis written by Lifewire concerning these two giants. The paragraphs below are just two that attracted my attention. 'Microsoft has decided to discontinue EdgeHTML and other core components of Microsoft Edge. Instead, the company plans to create a new version of Microsoft Edge based on Chromium. Microsoft is going to build Microsoft Edge on the foundations of Chrome, meaning that key elements like the rendering engine will be identical. What's likely to remain different are the connected services. For example, you may still sync your bookmarks with your Microsoft account instead of a Google account, and Bing will likely be the default search engine for Microsoft Edge. A common platform will make it easier for developers to create content and apps that are consistent across the major browsers'. Source: Lifewire - https://lifewire.com - February 2020 I fully anticipate that Edge' et al will have to evolve as users' demands for greater connectivity and dynamic use increases - perhaps exponentially. 🤔 Post script: I did not get on with Chrome - niggly things I suppose - but irritating as a user.

Free windows?
I'm about to build a gaming computer myself so i been watching videos of people building them. These builders never buy a OS, they just never register windows and just keep default desktop screen. Is this ok to do, is it legit and legal?
