File Explorer very slow!!
When I open file explorer it scans the C: drive. When I single click a file, it scans the C: drive. If I open or modify a file (change the name) it scans the C: drive. These scans vary from 5 seconds to 20 seconds, EVERY TIME. I searched Windows defrag with the start menu search button, it brings me to optimize drives. When I run the optimizer, it completes the process in 5 seconds... but i see ZERO change in the performance of my laptop. Secondly, video media I have that used to play smoothly, suddenly plays very choppy. If it does or does not have any relation to the above problem. Thank you, Nick

Advice on buying a new DeskTop COMPUTER
I need a new computer and I hav no idea what to get? I want to be productive. Usie it for work and school but also not have it be slow and cumbersome? I don't game but i would like to watch 3/D or A/R or A/I ? Something that would take away stress and reward myself after a hard day. Like swimming with whales or playing a game ? Do i just by Oculus or something like that and use it with a smart T/V ? Or do i use it with a computer? i have no idea and im 60 YOA? I am smart just not savy? Hello Fellow Windows Community Members & Staff, Sorry for the confusing Title but I could only post 60 characters in there. Anyways!... has anyone else noticed that almost 90% of the members here have "Stopped" using and Supporting the " Like - LOL - Helpful - Awesome " areas in the original OP Posts, and in the Reply's to the OP as well. (IMO) it always gives me a great feeling inside if I can answer a members question and I then received a "Helpful" response back from the OP and of course a reply. By using these features we also accumulate badges for our participation and involvement in Our Community. I know these badges are just for fun, and have No value except to the person who has earned them. Since I've been a member here I Always try and leave one of these selections marked in Every Post. a new member can learn a lot from other members posts that may have had the same problem and is looking for a solution when they come across one of our old posts with the answer already there. What are your thoughts on this Matter?.. Likes / Dislikes?..

"Microsoft Warning-- Install the "Emergency Patch"09-24-2019
Janet Perez of Komando.com under Kim Komando's Emails, Kim is a well know tech guru, put out an email to Kim's subscribers on 09-24-2019 on the above subject and said "Microsoft is telling users to download an 'emergency' out-of-band security patch immediately." Komando further says "the security flaw affects more than 7% of all browser users...running affected version of Internet Explorer 9, 10 and 11'. I have an updated Windows 10 computer, and I do use Internet Explorer and Edge, as well as GOOGLE regularly, but I don't know if I should download anything regarding this "Microsoft warning"! I just down's understand what, if anything I should do. My computer has the latest Update from Microsoft. I rely on my installed Malware Bytes Premium protection and Webroot Security, both of which are paid services. I also have Windows Defender doing periodic scanning. I have not been alerted by any of these three security and protection systems that my computer is in any way under attack or been infected. Komando has appended 16 Downloads from which to choose for dong the "emergency patch", however, none of them state in their titles/descriptions that they are for Windows 10? The Article states that the Department of Homeland Security takes the threat serious enough that it is issuing its own "advisory urging the public to get the patch." The Article states: "You can find the patch here (https.//www.catalog.update.microsft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4522007). Further, "from the list, "choose the update that corresponds with the versions of Internet Explore and Windows that you are running." I cannot seem to determine, despite instruction, what version of Internet Explorer I'm running, but if I could, the download list seems not to reference Windows 10 in anyway. COULD ANY OF YOU TECHIES SHOW ME THE LIGHT, AND GUIDE ME SPECIFICALLY AS TO WHAT I SHOULD DO BY WAY OF WHICH IE PATCH I SHOULD DOWNLOAD, IF ANY? Every browser is lagging in my win 10 p c.
Hi.. This is Rajiv. I am having a serious issue here while using any browser in my windows 10 p c. Wheather it's Google Chrome which I used to prefer, Edge or Firefox. Every browser is showing a time delay of almost 30 seconds or even more to show up what I type there on search box or on my blog. Because i don't have any technical knowledge so I tried out on help forums like windows, Google, or internet and done a lot of steps to set up this problem like clearing cache and cookies, resetting to default settings, clearing history, updating chrome, uninstalling chrome, Firefox and reinstalling it. Deep disc cleanup, cleaning up even unnecessary system files, and last formatting window and updating it again. I cleaned up even every single app which I installed from internet and even files also. Now my p c is having only default files and apps which came with windows only. Even then I am having this issue and not able to use my p c for any work at all. I even tried a tech expert for this problem but even then nothing is working till now. Please help me in this issue. It will be a great favour to me. Thanks for your concern. Have a good day ahead

WMI Host provider CPU and lsass.exe Memory utlization high
We are using Windows Server 2016 Datacenter build 10.0.14393.3297 We have observed CPU utilization of WMI Host provider and Memory utlization of lsass.exe process is very high due to which system is getting slow. In our application logs which queries to WMI, we have found "enumeration operation may not execute."
