Four Funky Future Features (say that 5 times fast ๐)
1. Eco Mode - An Edge/OS thing manageable in Task Manager and already in Windows Dev Insider Builds) 2. Performance Mode (coming to Edge; some Canaries have it, now) 3. Search image in Sidebar (new & supposed to be in Dev & Canary, now) 4. Workspaces - some Canaries have it, but coming to Edge... this is bloody brilliantโ Tab groups will or do work within Workspaces. Can compare to having multiple desktops in the OS... Workspaces within a single Edge window AND can even name them. Oh & with Edge GA Series 94, its update interval is changing from 6 wks to 4. Cheers, Drew

Sites & Pages to Apps ๐๐๐
Edge can turn pretty much ANY & ALL web sites & pages into apps. I am composing this now in the forum AS AN APP. And Edge is adding more & more nice 'controls' for making & handling apps. IF anyone needs to know HOW to do this,don't hesitate to ask. But, I wanted to address WHY to do this. 1. Having & opening things as apps, obviously, means not using Edge for that same thing (anymore). Thus, it becomes its 'pure'self... none of the peripherals of a web page. 2. Fewer open tabs tugging on system /browser resources. 3. Can be pinned & treated just like any other app. 4. Not dependent on opening or using the browser for everything. Great for Twitter, Spotify or anything used a lot that no longer needs the browser to access it. Can toss apps all over the place better than Edge windows. > โฏ > Apps, expand it > Manage Apps. AND anything converted to an app will, of course, be in your Applications window (and on the silly Start menu ๐) It is a big deal, a very worthwhile thing having this ability. Cheers, Drew

Over on Android Central this morning one of their contributors was espousing Chrome's autofill feature, as if it were the greatest thing since Xtra Crunchy Peanut Butter. I've been relying on it more and more with Microsoft Edge, and I've been relying on LastPass less and less. Do you use the Autofill?

How do I connect my desktop camera to the internet?
I have a usb camera, but I can only take photos or videos. I want to be able to use it in Microsoft EDGE. I don't know the ip address of the camera.
Untouched space inserts between characters when typing
While typing in Edge and Canary Edge, a space will insert between typed characters even when neither space bar or enter key is struck. Similar problem in earlier releases that was seemingly resolved until last two Insider Fast Track releases,

Let's say... >> Widget is set to open when Windows Starts. >> No Edge is open >> You have something in mind... >> BEGIN typing THAT text/URL in Widget's Search/URL 'box' >> Hit ENTER Open Edge from its Widget ๐ Can do the same & will add (new) tab to existing, already open, Edge window. Outlook on NTP
This is available/doable on all 3 Edge Channels, GA, Dev & Canary. An icon for Outlook can be added to the New Tab Page. Quick links has to be enabled. Then hit to Add a link (it may be hard to see) & you will see the Outlook icon in the wee 'box', click it follow the 'prompts'. It shows the 3 most recent E-mails & you write a New Mail right from there or add a New Event, too. NB: When added it's red with an 'O', not the normal Outlook icon ๐คทโโ๏ธ If this โ doesn't make sense to anyone, I'll find a way to direct you to pictures. Cheers, Drew
Windows apps are better for cell phone users
I long for the day when Google can be removed from the cell phone market. Microsoft Edge is much better than Google Chrome. Microsoft 365 Outlook is much better than anything Google offers. There are many more comments I could make. There is one comment I do not like making: Microsoft is more expensive.
