Opening file on current Windows 10 Virtual Desktop
Hi. Using Windows 10 virtual desktop (on local device, not in the Azure cloud) https://community.windows.com/en-us/stories/virtual-desktop-windows-10 When having multiple Windows 10 virtual desktops and some Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) file open in say Desktop 1, when switching to Desktop 2 and opening a file of the same application, the display is forcibly and without warning switched to the virtual desktop where the application was already open. So if I switch to virtual desktop 3, open a Word document, then manually switch to virtual desktop 5 and open another Word document, I get 'pulled back' to virtual desktop 3 without notice where the new file window is displayed, but it should have been placed in virtual desktop 5. This causes mindset disruption as each desktop contains data related to separate projects. Also there is a risk when having an audience watching the screen, they might see private information due to virtual desktop being switched. One can still move the newly opened window over to the desired virtual desktop, but it would be expected that the window was placed within the virtual desktop it was opened from.

Pci express screen flickering or black screens on monitors
I HAVE FOUND THE REASON SCREEN FLICKERING WITH PCI EXPRESS DISPLAY CARDS. WINDOWS 7 TO 10 ARE NON RESPONSIVE WHEN NEW HARDWARE IS BEEN ADDED OR REMOVED. YOU HAVE TO MANUALLY ADD OR REMOVE DRIVERS THAT IS WHY WITH TWO OR MORE DISPLAY PORTS ONBOARD/PCI EXPRESS WINDOWS BECOMMING CONFUSED WITH PORTS AND MONITOR DRIVERS AND BECOMING A MESS TO CHANGE BETWEEN PORTS OR MONITORS XP AND NT HANDLED DRIVERS VERY WELL. FROM WINDOWS 2000 UPWARDS WINDOWS COMPLETELY LOST CONTROLE OVER DRIVERS. Why don't windows fix that or why did windows gone bad instead of going better

This community should have a feature to upload images
Hi, even Microsoft Community has a feature to upload images to the post or answer. Don't take mo wrong, I like this community, but as I had read most of the conversations, they seemed to have doubts which they cannot clarify by words. Would be great if you could add the image feature soon!

windows 10 pro display screen sleep issue
Can someone tell me why windows 10 pro looses network connection when you only set the display to turn off after a predefined time and not allowing the SP to go to sleep? i have gone through many articles/ registry suggestions about making sure the network setting is set to not turn off when the SP goes to sleep so thats all fine. but i cannot find out why and how to stop this. windows 7 never use to do it. you could set the display to turn off after a certain time and that's exactly what would happen. The computer would still be running and all the network connections would stay connected. very frustrated!

What do you think of Microsoft's UI Design?
Since Windows 8, Microsoft's taken the lead in pioneering modern UI design standards. The goal seems to be to make a cohesive touch-friendly UI across Windows, with an emphasis on flat, sharp elements and icons as well as tiles that have defined a lot of Microsoft's design language. With the inclusion of fluent design, subtle references to skeuomorphism, like lighting, highlights, and texture have been added back to Windows, without compromising any other modern design guidelines. These efforts are commendable, and demonstrates Microsoft's progressive design standards. However, the focus on mobile-friendly and touch-friendly interfaces has become concerning, especially since new designs have changed from a mobile-first to a mobile-only style. Large fonts and buttons, excessive padding, and limited customizability might be fine on mobile apps because mobile devices are limited, and more difficult to work with, but these same design elements are hostile and inefficient to mouse-and-keyboard users. If you compare Windows 10 apps to their Windows 7 counterparts, you can see that the newer apps take up more screen space while doing more or less the same function. This is a problem. A focus on Mobile-friendly design should not ever mean mouse-and-keyboard unfriendly, especially since this is the primary method of input on desktop computers. I was once especially fond of the Microsoft Office interface as an example of crisp, modern design that does not compromise mouse and keyboard usability. Most importantly, Office came with a "touch mode" and "mouse mode" option, creating the most optimal interface for each input method. However, the latest redesign of the Office ribbon seems to move further and further from these sensible design guidelines. The new simplified ribbon has no changes for mouse and touch mode, along with a host of other issues. I'm concerned over the direction of Microsoft's UI design, and I'd like to bring up these issues for consideration.

viewing HTML files with Edge
Currently viewing HTML files with Edge (or any MS application is not possible without going to special apps or using the command line and Linux commands. I am hoping that MS will consider making this feature available in a near release. Anyone else seeing this as an issue?

Dark Theme Scheduling
I'd like a feature on Windows 10 that includes dark theme scheduling. For example, at 8:00am, the light theme will be used, and at 7:00pm, the dark theme will be used. This is called automatic dark and light theme scheduling.

Windows 8 have in stock?

Bluetooth completely gone after Windows 10 update
I updated my PC and now my computer has lost all bluetooth capability. So far I've tried: - Running the troubleshooter - this came back and told me my device doesn't have bluetooth capability at all, which is not true - Using the Bluetooth helper thing under services, changing it from "manual" to "automatic", did nothing - Uninstalling the driver and reinstalling the newest Intel driver, then resetting my computer - this led to any bluetooth traces left in my device manager being completely gone I'm really stumped on what to do, any help would be appreciated.
