windows insider program
looking to opt out of windows insider program and not sure how. have it on my older pc and it has slowed down quite a bit over time and i don't really want to wait the 6 plus hours waiting for it to install
Is Windows 10X gonna fail? No win32 support
This is really important, Windows 10x is designed for foldables but as I take it, it's like a downgrade in everyway from Windows 10. Windows 10x is coming to single screen devices, to replace those trash computers that people use. I find it to be WAY to agressively pushed as a chromebook competitor, and virtualized apps running to a server really doesn't help. The thing is, I would like it if it had a option to run locally using another server computer as a way of a "Battery saver" mode for windows 10, but windows 10X is really pushing it too far, espically when the Microsoft Store hasn't been updated properly. The store looks ugly, spaced out akwardly, collections placed in a non-agressive spot, apps not priorized as they should be on search, and improper spacing overall. So who is Windows10x for? --addtional(edit)-- What makes it better than linux?
Windows defender stopped
I can see here that a lot of people are experiencing problems lately with windows defender, just as I have. What is happening? My laptop was in sleep mode for 4 days, working just fine before and now suddenly the windows defendeer isn't working and the threat protection can't be restarted. New tabs aren't working, I can only reach websites through those tabs that were alreay open when I left the computer 4 days ago. Seems to be some major problem, what do you suggest?

On a scale of 1 to 10, how easy to use is Windows?
If you ask me I will give it a 9 out of ten. New users that I have seen just get along with Windows without being told how to use it. Its great to have operating system with such great ease of use and reliability.
Microsoft Windows 10 UI Design Is Still Inconsistent
In January2020, we here that Microsoft is discontinue the legendary Windows 7 OS after almost 12 years support. The windows 7 users should not be get any feature update expect the Security Patch update. Well frankly say it's really a tough decision for Microsoft, Because over 200M+devices are still running on windows 7 in 2020, Microsoft continuously try to push it's user to the latest Windows 10. It's fine and i am not complaining about this. But the real problem comes in terms of Windows 10's UI element design and user experience..... In Windows 10 Microsoft was introduced Fluent Design System, and that is the new user interface by Microsoft in Windows 10, Microsoft really work on it and continuously try to improve it. But the problem is The new Fluent Design of Windows 10 is very unstable and it is only support just few apps and System. The Core User Interface of Windows 10 is still look like 2009's Windows 7 in 2020. Here is the few Point that you should be noticed it: 1.The Windows 10 Setting Application has a new good look, but you can also find the old Windows 7 style in Control Panel in Windows 10. 2.The File Explorer of Windows 10 is Still look like 2009's Windows 7. 3.Most of the old core applications of Windows 7 is also present in Windows 10, Like Paint, The worse Internet Explorer, Windows old Media Player etc., you can find it on Windows Accessories folder in start menu. I know many users are still love to use those but is those app really need? think rationally.... 4.The most of the Internal Core application and program still look like windows 7 in 2020, they need a big revamp of windows new fluent design. It's complicated the system and make things more harder. My Suggestion is that, Please Windows 10 Developers Short out this Issues and Solve the Problem in next Windows 10 feature Updates. Running School DVDs on Windows 10 Computers
I have a number of school lectures on DVDs that I need to play. I can run them on my Sony Blue-ray Player without any problems, but need another way to watch them too. I have several Windows 10 PCs (desktop PCs and a laptop), but have not been able to get them to run on these platforms. I have installed several highly rated DVD apps from the Microsoft Store, including the Windows DVD Player, but none of these will allow me to play the school DVDs. I have been wrestling with this problem for several days and have run out of places to look for solutions. Anybody?

Please someone help! Windows 10 Insider preview build and I am getting this message on my taskbar "Your version of Windows 10 has reached the end of service. Click to download a newer version of WIndows 10 to stay supported." When iclick on it, it will bring me to the update page but it won't download and just says your PC is up to date. What do I do, and if any better, How do I quit the insider program?
Disappointed = still blocked for Window 10 2004 May update
Dperessed that only 1 of 5 devices I own has updated to Windows 10 2004. Frustrating that I stil can't even find out what the block reason is. Pathetic that on the conexant sounds cards (my best guess for my thinkpad blocks) that billion dollar corporations (Microsoft and Synaptics [who bought connexant] can't fix a sound driver in more than 2 months (it's 2 months since the block - presumably the problem was already known for the block). Even worse, they can't be bothered to to provide any kind of news since the original text posted onMay 27 - you press the "LearnMore" button on Windows Update and learn nothing at the next to useless dashboard. "Investigating" for 2 months is just sad. I have used Windows for a while - I was present at the UK launch and have never been so disappointed. Ironically, on one ofmy devices I never even use the Conext sound - with proper infomration (liek aconfirmation that this is my blokc) I might risk anupdate and manual disbale - I tried that to see if the block woudlclear on automatic update it didnt workbut with no information provided on the blockI have noidea if it shoudl have worked. [Incindetally,which idiot decided to switch off the WIndows spell check in ths dialog? Here I am in edge,with MS editor running and... As it happens my spelling is pretty good - but my typing is not (motor control) so I rely on underlines to spot the typos.]
