Windows May 2020 download fails to install
I was installing the May 2020 up-date. The installation process was interupted, now it just keeps recycling to 64% and will not complete. How can I get past this glitch?
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
Can anyone tell me how to install Lotus 123 5.01, SmartSuite 9.5 or 9.8 on to Windows 10 Pro 64 bit? I've read articles claiming success on the internet and I've even managed to install Lotus 123 but when I try to open the program it won't open. I do realize that there are NEWER PROGRAMS LIKE Excel but I do like Lotus and I'm in the category of teaching old dogs new tricks!! Thanks

I think that I have received a new version of Windows 10. I think all is going well and I will be posting more on my experience (as a blind person) sometime today. It is very exciting to receive updates; puts more energy into my day 😎🤩 Coffee time methinks ☕☕☕☕ Hope all of you are keeping well
Windows 10 speaks with forked tongue.
I get regular message on my Windows 10 laptop that my router has a problem. Connection to the internet has failed but my wi-fi signal says connected. I check the router with another device and it's ok. The problem is in my laptop so why do I get a false router message. The way I correct this is to disconnect my wi-fi adaptor (it tells me it is connected when it is clearly not) and reconnect it. Is this a common problem or a fault in my laptop?

(do) 4.Centralised Dashboard with statistical monitoring of web and network traffic (do) 5.Web Filtering integrated into windows firewall , also connected as a pre installed Edge feature. 6.Edge should incorporate ad blocking - pre installed. 7.Default enable https on edge. 8.Compress windows updates for these improvements including other updates to ensure minimum bandwidth utilization on low end machines and networks. Allow users to see Cpu/Disk/Net activity during Windo Update
When the windows update experience locks you out of using your mouse pointer and taskmanager you no longer have sufficient data to know if an installation has hung on old/unreliable hardware and as such users may cut power to the system in these cases, by providing cpu usage/disk activity/network activity/battery remaining you provide users with a way to see if anything is happening and improve the windows update experience by allowing users to inspect their hardware and make more informed choices before taking any drastic measures such as cutting power to the system. the one thing I hate most about the windows update experience is not being able to see whats going on activity wise on my system. During normal usage I have a hard disk indicatior software that informs me if anything is thrashing the drive and I terminate anything that uses to much of my disk time, this improves performace and life of my ssd. Top middle of my screenshot is my hard disk led called Floatled On the feedback hub under the 'name' -> "Allow users to see the log/task manager/simple cpu/disk/network activity during 'advanced' windows update installations"
Windows 10 20h2 out on the 13th?
I have read from a third party website that Windows 10 20h2 will be released to the general public on the 13th of this month. Can someone tell me if that is true? When I was searching regards that on Google, there seems to be news from some websites regards to a new Windows OS called Windows 11. That is not true since Microsoft states, Windows 10 will be the last OS. I hope those news are false.
I had a work PC configured, then Microsoft forced an update
Hi, I would like to ask a Microsoft Manager, (any department will do), how would you feel after you find that your working PC is not working anymore, while you have a customer in front of you waiting to start a recording session he paid for. I have a DAW, configured with 3 monitor and one professional Dante audio interface. I run a recording studio. My work is to record musician sessions in a dynamic way, following and inspiring artists to focus on creativity and music, not on technology. Today I had to cancel the session, a band that arrived from abroad, because the last Windows update left my system in a non operative status. I am working hard to recover the technical situation, but I think I have lost a customer. They asked me: why you do not use MAC? I decided to use Windows because I was curious to see if the belief that Mac OS is better for professional recording studio was correct. I gave Microsoft credit. But, this is the third time I have this problem. It is not acceptable. I will update (should I say upgrade) the systems to Mac, but as a short term solution I have to reconfigure the DAW. Do you know what I have to do to reconfigure my system and how long it will take me? I will tell you. Read the following log. 1. AMD Radeon HD 7770 Ghz Edition - driver gone - I had to reinstall - 40 minutes 2. wrong resolution on display n.2 (LG ultrawide HDMI) - 10 min. 3. three desktop - on the display n. 1 I have icons of the previous n. 2 / on display 2 there is nothing / on disp. 3 a mess - 20 min. 4. The color management is gone! I had to run Spider5Express on 3 monitors to recalibrate the colour - 1 hour and 30 minutes 5. Audio: reconfiguration I will continue later... but... Gentleman, my feeling now is that my DAW is not really mine! Microsoft have the control on my belonging. I pay for something that I have to disconnect physically from Internet otherwise I can not avoid updates? This is unacceptable and ridiculous.
