MS Edge after Patch Tuesday Update
My MS Edge Settings every time I close it that it should be clear. - Download & Browsing History - Cached Images & files - Site Permission Before Feb 09 Patch Tuesday Update, MS Edge App LOADING & CLOSING is very slow. After Feb 09 Patch Tuesday Update, MS Edge is IMPROVING. The LOADING & CLOSING is fast. Additional Info: In my windows main settings, NEW FEATURE is been add/put "WEB BROWSING"
is recovery of permanently deleted files possible?
I accidentally permanently deleted some important files, on the old versions of Windows (era 6 or 7), there was a feature to reset the clock (go back in time) and restore a previous desktop, is that feature gone?
Won't update
A couple weeks ago my laptop stopped downloading/installing most Microsoft updates. And when I looked at update history everything before 29 April 2021 was gone. I have updates successfully installed under "Quality Updates, KB5003169 ( 5/11/2021) and KB4023057 (04/29/2021), and under "Other Updates" is KB8090830 (5/11/2021). Other updates are listed as Failed to Install. When I pull up the Windows Update page there is an alert saying "Your device is missing important security and quality fixes" and will not update/download anything. I don't know if any of this info helps you. Please be kind, I'm an old lady on social security. LOL. Which Microsoft Defender feature(s) really annoys you?
I'm looking forward to know your reactions regarding the annoying feature(s) of Microsoft Defender, if you have. The one I hate is Defender scanning the dead virus files which have been removed, but cached in Protection History. I had to deal with a stupid PUP for 3 months because Defender constantly gave me fake alerts regarding the dead thing. :(

So hard to use the search function in File Explorer of 1909
Hi, I am a so old Windows user since Windows 3.2. I found it so hard to use the updated search function in File Explorer of 1909. 1. In 1903 and earlier, I click the search box, the search ribbon tool appear immediatelly, and I can modify the search options, like search by time/size and/or other properties. In 1909, the search ribbon tool does not come out immediatelly, I have to type something before the tools appear, and delete what I have typed to search all the files with just the modified option. It is not satisfied. 2. When I click the search box, the history list does not jump out smoothly. Sometimes it has no response, no input icon, I have to close the file explorer window, which is quite annoying. 3. The appear of address and search box are changed, they look taller than before, I perferde the slim design.
