Windows 10 Home running very slow
Windows 10 Home running very slow in my laptop. Please help. Any webpage or any content takes a lot of time to open.

black screen
recently I downloaded some upgrades, and soon after my laptop went into a BIOS update. Since then I have had no access whatsoever to my laptop. I plug it in, turn it on, get the manufacturers logo and then nothing. Total black screen. I have followed all the advise on the support pages but still have no access. It seems as if there is no contingency for someone not being able to even sign-in to their laptop. Have had to resort to using another laptop but seems as if all my data, obviously unsaved, has gone to the great 'black screen heaven' in the sky. Rather than resorting to using a hammer, can anybody furnish me with some meaningful advice?

Create Free Space đđ A Nice Tipâ
As many know there is or there might be a Windows.old folder on your Sys drive. If, all is good AND you have no need for anything from the previous Windows, as in, for example, before & after 21H1... that BIG Windows.old folder can be removed. The TIP here for you is that there is a really easy way to do this... the OS will do it for you via this path: > Settings > System > Storage. Under Storage Sense click on Configure SS or run it now. Down at the bottom of the page you will see Free Up Space Now. Check the box & hit the button. Will a take a few (the folder is BIG), but when finished the unneeded Windows.old folder will be gone and you will have created a BIG chunk of precious free space on your OS drive đđđ Certainly look for this folder & do the above after the H1 & H2 Updates. Or after upgrading to Windows 10 If you use MCT to update you will have the folder after completion Cheers, Drew

Has anyone been having fun with Edge?
I have been using Microsoft products since DOS 1.0... Yep I'm so old that I can remember when we had to rub rocks together to get dirt to plant peanuts. Edge is unique that it has harvested all my favorites, since day one, and given me the dark side of Backup/restore. I tried my friends, and I have no enemies to ask, they all died of old age. And now Internet Explorer is being hauled off to the boneyard. Work, of course, doesn't use anything but IE... Soooo, me being the old geek and all that, they off load their problems to me. Does anybody out there in the land of people have had favorites listing so long that they could be used to fish with?

home network
I had a Home Network set up in Windows 10 under Homegroup. Subsequent updates eliminated Homegroup but my network continued to work. Then my main computer went West and I had to replace it. Now I can't get my network to connect the different computers on my network. I am not an expert on programming computers. I need detailed instructions on how to set up a new network. Why did you eliminate Homegroup?
