Where's HomeGroup?
Windows 7 introduced HomeGroup. Now, on Windows 10 April 2018 Update and later, HomeGroup is no longer available. However, you can do one of the following: - Save your files to OneDrive and share a link to other people, or give them permission to view or edit. - Use media sharing for pictures, music, video, and recorded TV. - Share your folder with someone else who is part of your network. - Access someone else's PC in the Network folder as long as other PCs are part of your network. - Access any shared printers through the "Print" dialog box. (If you're using a printer that has a built-in Wi-Fi, other users can use it.)

Windows product key verification
Hi there, I have a laptop that came with Windows 10 Pro. I use my pc for work, the company added a work user as the admin on my PC. When I leave the company they will remove that user and its information, which is fine. The problem comes in that I once this has been done I want to do a PC restore, so that I am sure that any permissions or restrictions etc they've put on are removed. What I'm worried about is that I don't know if the laptop originally came with Windows 10 Pro or whether the supplier simply upgraded it to Pro. I have found my product key using the CMD function, but I was wondering if there is any way I can verify that it is in fact a Pro license and not a Home license. Please assist if possible on how/where I can verify this.

Indexer Diagnost. I could love it, I don't, at least not yet
šŖšµš®š š±š¼ šš¼š ššµš¶š»šø š¼š³ ššµš² š»š²š š¶š»š±š²š š¶š»š“ šš¼š¼š¹? If you're not familiar with the new indexer tool, it's available as a beta in store. I was very excited when Indexer Diagnostics was launched. I'm sure it will be very useful. I find the information provided in the app to be confusing. Take a look at this screenshot: (link is to my SharePoint) https://netorgft5693133-my.sharepoint.com/:i:/g/personal/loke_llh2019_no/ERCes9s_noZIv2643-KSMW4BGTJY5gPiqJd_rUMHK4qgKQ?e=klw2DK This is how I read the information: šš£šš”šŖššš š„šš©ššØ: š¾:\šŖšØšš§šØ I read: We index everything in users and subfolders šššš”šŖššš š„šš©ššØ: š:\šŖšØšš§šØ/š”š¤š š Loke is my user. Now I read; We index everything except my user. šššš”šŖššš š„šš©ššØ: š:\š¬šš£šš¤š¬šØ I asked two friends how they read it: We don't index anything from Windows. I'm an above-average user, but the information in "search root" doesn't mean much to me: https://netorgft5693133-my.sharepoint.com/:i:/g/personal/loke_llh2019_no/EQSz50lPkmBLodprerncPjAB6L4PLsqdMb7NeJGZ3BSIWw?e=M9cOFr MS survey on this page asks the question: 5. I can complete a complex computer-based task (e.g., setting up a printer or wi-fi) My personal opinion is setting up hardware or connect WI-FI is a minimum of knowledge. How can MS think users will understand how to use the Indexer tool and at the same time consider setting up a printer is complex? Is it just me? What do you guys think?
