Never Jump To Conclusions! ๐
Hello Everyone, I'd like to share a little True story with all of you. The other day on patch Tuesday I downloaded all the updates and installed them to my system and all seemed fine. So the next day I was surfing the net and all of a Sudden my Microsoft 1850 Wireless Mouse froze-up and stopped responding after my system made that little noise that it does when you remove a device from a USB Port. So I thought maybe a reboot will fix the problem. And it did for a little while and then it did it again. So naturally my first thought was """OH NO A Bad Update!!!""" It wasn't doing that until the Update!... It's just gotta be that. Then I took a second and thought well maybe It's a mouse going bad, Yeap! you guest it, I jumped online and ordered a new one. Anyways!... After that I started thinking and I decided to remove the Mouse Dongola from the extra USB Port that came on my cooling pad and insert it into a different USB port on my device itself. Well Low And Behold It Worked Perfectly!... It seams that the USB Port on my Cooling pad has gone bad after many years of service And NOT the fault of Microsoft at all. The Moral Of The Story : Never Jump To Conclusions Because The Problem May Just Be On Your End.

This Windows Community Conversation Board Thing
Please everyone forgive me if I have misunderstood as I do not wish to sound too negative. But I was under the impression this was for discussions about Microsoft & It`s operating system (windows) NOT a support group for windows support, especially as their are a Hugh number of support groups out there not to mention Microsoft windows support services. I may have only read a few comments so fare but the majority where about how to fix windows issues. Conversations on here about how, why and why they haven't been addressed successfully Syme to be more welcome & appropriate.

Interacting with Computers ๐
Recently, I have heard conversations and comments that 'we' are spending too much time on our devices and less on our interactions with human beings. I respect these views but I do not share them. The world of the Internet and our devices (mine is a desktop computer) offers me splendid opportunities to engage with so many people across this world of ours. Whilst it is a fact that there are downsides with some aspects of the Internet connectivity, the positive opportunities are much more. For those of us who live in rural communities the Internet offers a 'window' (excuse the usage of 'Window' on the rest of the world. ๐ This particular platform is a favourite of mine ๐คฉ and the sense of connectivity is fantastic. Also, this platform affords me and people like me, an opportunity to explore the world of computing and its advantages. So many thanks to you all and especially the Windows Teams ๐ you guys are really ๐

Do you find yourself talking directly to your computer? ๐คจ
I have a tendency to talk to my computer. May sound a bit daft! ๐คจ If I am under pressure for whatever reason, or I am searching for a reference and cannot find it, I talk AT my computer - most likely with exasperation that anything else; not that this helps me to find the resource any quicker though. If I have the radio on in the background and the news is being broadcasted, I most definitely voice my opinion on the subject matter to my computer (which thankfully remains silent - unless Narrator is switched on). ๐ฒ Then that becomes a whole different ball game if I am working on a Word document. ๐คฃ Has being on lockdown changed your behaviour towards your computer? If we have a more extended lockdown and have to work from home for a prolonged period of time, will this influence/change our working behaviours? Your PoV please ๐ Keep well.
