How do I fix "g-mail settings out of date
I keep getting the message that my e-mail settings are out of date. How do I fix this? Everything that I click on goes in circles and never fixes problems. Do you not want us to use g-mail. This is a pain in the neck that I can never fix. Any suggestions?

How to Migrate Mail Data & Structure (Folders & Messages)
Maybe it is just my perception but I feel Google is like the stalking ex-lover in the song ”Every Breath You Take” by The Police. I have been dreading changing email addresses for a couple of reasons 1) notifying everyone (persons & businesses) & 2) moving mail to the new account. To simplify things my plan is to keep the same username for my account as I have for Gmail account (in other words the email address would be the same except that it would end with outlook.com.) The last time I did this I used Mozilla Thunderbird but it appears to have the same problems it had when I migrated from Yahoo about 10 years ago. Does anyone know of a way to do this in Outlook? I have seen directions for the web version of Outlook but the directions do not match what I see on the screen. If it helps I purchased a copy of Office 2016 with Outlook but I have not found a way to do with it what I did with Thunderbird.

Tantalizing tidbit of trivia about Outlook!
Here's a tidbit of info on Microsoft Outlook 365 and Outlook 2016. Did you know that it is very easy using the Advanced Options in rules to set up an incoming email to go to one or more mail subfolder? Of Course you did! But do you use it? To bad it's not available in Mail, but Mail does follow along either Microsoft Outlook 365, or Outlook 2016 so it just might work. I never use Mail or Calendar, so I wouldn't know. Calendar Has an End Date
Mail & Calendar app is going to come to an end and being replaced by a new Outlook. There will be a beta available later this year & a single full replacement (of the two, Mail & Calendar) coming in 2022. This is part of the "One Outlook" approach to having unity & consistency of Outlook across all devices. Cheers, Drew
Problem with Outlook.com
I have a strange problem when using the Outlook mail app, both the on-line version and when using Outlook in the Mail app. I use Gmail as a client in the Mail app, when I receive mail that was originated by a Gmail user or sent to my Gmail address, I cannot reply to those emails or forward them if I use Outlook. I get an error msg and Outlook will not send them. I have to be on the alert to notice if the mail was sent to my Gmail address before I reply or forward. I've checked my settings for both Gmail and Outlook, but I cannot determine what would cause this problem. It started about three months ago after one of the updates to Windows 10. I'm using the latest version of Windows 10, S0h2. When using Outlook in the Office 365 app it seems to work fine. Does anyone have a solution for me? Thanks in advance.

When I open my mail with google chrome several come up and I have to delete 3 of the 4.Also when I open with microsoft edge the site says it is not secure. My mail site at xfinity. How could I fix this?
Email folder help
When moving an email to a folder on the microsoft mail app, is there a way i can type in the folder name rather than scrolling through a list of my folders? i have hundreds of folders to keep organized & on the outlook app, i can just type in the folder name. on this new mail app, it doesn't seem like that's an option
