Windows 10 100% Disk Usage
Hi Everyone, I have been having recent problems with many computers that are running 100% disk usage. My computer is not running this, but my brother's computer (lenovo thinkpad X131e) is running 100% all the time. I fully cleaned the drive, and disabled Windows Search and SySmain (aka Superfetch), and alot of other things. It seems to work now, but still is not like a new computer. I jumps to 100% when opening a basic app like Microsoft Edge. The only time when it is low is when idiling with no programs open. (still at 10 - 20%). I also have another computer that is running the same thing (Lenovo iDeapad 310). Does anyone know why this happens? My dad has a Lenovo P910 that is 5 years old, and runnig windows 10 Pro. This does not have the 100% disk usage though. Is it different versions of windows?? The thinkpad and ideapad are both windows 10 home. THank you for your time! Joseph

To access storage manager and storage sense, simply open the settings app, then click on the system tab. Under it, click on storage and rule your storage without worries.
Windows 10 & SSD - to defrag or Optimise ?
Some say "Do not Disc Defrag SSD " Is it correct that the latest update of Windows 10 include SSD Optimise. Is Optimise the Drive & Disc Defrag the same thing?
Accindentally fortmatting drive (D) on Create Storage Pool
2 days ago, I was tyring to free up storage on my local disk (c) but after latest windows update (end of april), I think some option was changed. The one option that I used is gone. Long story short, I found an option that I think is the new one, "Manage Storage Spaces", I thought they rename it. Without hesitation, I opened it. The interface was different, Windows show up an option: "Create a new pool and storage space" I clicked it, the it asked permission, I clicked YES then it showed up: "FORMATTED DRIVES and bla bla bla choose your drive: " I clicked my SATA DRIVE (D), without hesitation I clicked, "Create a Pool" then my DATA (D) was gone, the file and even DATA (D) Folder. Is there any way to recover it ?

1)Is the windows defender will scan & protect the external disc and USBs when connected. 2)Before downloading any file from internet is the windows defender will scan for the virus? 3)I want to close the services of McAfee Life safe from my laptop which was preloaded while purchasing one year back, How to remove that and how to activate the windows defender in place of McAfee.
